testo 420 - Volume flow hood

Q: Does this come calibrated? Would like to purchase, but need to know if it's calibrated first. Thank you!

Testo 420 basic kit comes with the factory calibration, but this is not a NIST. We do have them in stock at Value Testers, so you can purchase one from our store on Amazon. If you need NIST calibration, there is another version, but the lead time is about 2 weeks. The factory calibration is done in Germany, so it is almost like a NIST. Hope this answers your question.

Validity of certification is shown only on NIST calibration certs. You need to order one that comes with NIST.

Q: will this hood read down to 15 cfm?

Measuring Range 50 to 2120 CFM, so won't.
