Product Description . desertcart.com This might have been the album Tribe Called Quest wanted to make from the very beginning. It's their most even, consistent album of the original trilogy that also includes People's Instinctive Travels... and The Low End Theory. But in spite of this, or maybe because of it, it's also their most uninteresting. With so many competent tracks, there's no chance for something to stand out above the pack, like "Scenario" did on Low End Theory or "Can I Kick It" did on People's Instinctive Travels. The celebration is there ("Stir It Up"), the jazz drums kick ("Oh My God"), and the stand-up bass dribbles, keeping perfect pace with Q-Tip's unmistakable mic-touch ("Electric Relaxation"). There's even a Native Tongues armistice/reunion with De La Soul ("Awards Tour"). Although it comes together like a seamless tutorial in jazz hip-hop style, it comes together so damn well that it's hard for any one track to excel, cursing the album with consistent quality. --Todd Levin Review: All time vintage tribe - What can u say about atcq that hasn't been said huh? but the "Electric Relaxation" comes on and I was like..
1st record I ever bought. I was 13 years old and it was the first thing I got after working all week with my father. This was all I ever wanted and it blew my mind. The smoothness and the delivery of every song were on the money...wasn't that crazy about "Midnight" and "We can Get Down", but the "Electric Relaxation" comes on and I was like...Who's that on the bass?! What is that guitar doing?! What's that chorus saying?! Excitement and wonder. I cannot explain how enjoyable the second half of this album is. So enjoyable was this record to me, that I fixed my jumpshot to "God Lives Through". Made me slow down and get my form right and the BPM was perfect for timing my release (Weird tools used by a weird kid, I guess).

See I like to get down, Jack!
"Oh My God"! "God Lives Through" the "Award Tour" should "Keep It Rollin'" forever. This is a pure hip-hop classic because of its "8 Million Stories" that can generate "Electric Relaxation" that any "Sucka N*" will "Clap Your Hands" to and "We Can Get Down" way past "Midnight". Alright I couldn't find a place to put "The Chase, Part II," but you get the point. 1993-94 will forever be my favorite year of hip hop, with Wu Tang, Nas, Biggie's first single, Snoop and Dr. Dre, and mostly because I got to see Tribe not once, but twice with De La Soul! This album's a masterpiece with not one bad track or any un-listenable filler material (which was way too common back then). Buy this!

Amazing Album, Bad Quality
When I ordered this I was excited because I absolutely love this album. So when it came I was surprised because it was in terrible condition. The CD case was scratched and when I opened it, it fell apart. So I had to transfer the art and stuff into another CD case and it was all good. So when you order this, make sure that you have an extra CD case ready just in case.

One of if not the greatest Hip Hop albums of all time
This album from front to back is 5 mics. Every song is gold. Through out the whole album every song seems to flow into the next. This masterpiece belongs in every Hip Hop collection.

Great Hip-Hop album from Tribe
This is one of the best hip-hop albums that I have ever heard and one of Tribe's best next to "Low End Theory". Highly recommended!
