A classic from half a century ago! Very good to see it again

Great service, lovely book

My Canadian aunt gave me this book when I was a child. I loved it then and I love it even more now. I have bought it for my daughter Lucy who has just adopted a dog called Snoopy!This book is much bigger than my original copy but is beautifully reproduced and anyone who loved the original will feel the same about this version.

It could be described as "just another overpriced, skinny Christmas special", but it's not really.I first had the book for a gift when I was just a child and learning to read - I loved it! The pictures are charming and the humour worth smiling at.I returned to this book over and over again over the years so probably nostalgia gives it a bit more credit than it deserves, but it always gave me a smile and it holds a special place in my heart.It's easy to knock for the sake of knocking in these cynical times, but you CAN enjoy it if you don't try too hard.
