I ordered this for a vacation upcoming this summer, however as a big kid myself, I couldn't resist the urge to break it out and play with it before we left! I appreciate the fact that the sticks comes inside a very hard cardboard cylinder to protect them from being broken inadvertently. I took several out an broke them, giving them to my kids to play with. They glowed for several hours before noticing a slight decline is brightness with certain colors. Overall they glowed until well after bedtime, both theirs and mine.Everything is as advertised, keeping in mind that the sticks are smaller diameter - about the size of a small drinking straw (bigger than a coffee straw, but smaller than most fast food sttraws) and about 6-8" long each. They are plenty long enough to make a bracelet (using just one stick) for my kids, but adult bracelets and necklaces for anyone would need multiple sticks.The kid includes enough to make ONE ball, and ONE pair of glasses. To be clear, you can make more than one by reusing the connector pieces, but only one at a time. There are plenty of connectors to make two ends join together.Overall I gave them four stars because the diameter of each stick was a bit smaller than I was expecting, but I think that they will prove lots of fun on our camping trip.

I bought this to make a few bracelets to wear to New Year's Eve dinner and some outdoor firework festivities. We were in a hurry beforehand, so I stuck the box in my purse thinking we'd have time at some point during the evening. When we got to the restaurant, everyone looked bored -- only 9pm and people were yawning, not really festive at all. I started pulling out the sticks and attachers just for something to do, handed out a few to people at the table next to us...and soon other people were asking if they could have a few....and then I started passing out glowsticks and attachers to anyone who looked like they needed to have fun. A big group of adults turned into a giggling group of kids in no time at all. The staff even got in on the action, so soon everyone in the place was aglow. Tons of fun to see it happen, and it broke the ice so that neighboring tables began to talk to each other. Oh, and the quality of these was wonderful -- everyone of them lit up brightly (as opposed to some I bought at a grocery store, which didn't work at all).

I bought a pack of these for my niece and nephew and some other kids for Halloween this year, and aside from a few pieces with slightly activated sections, they were in great shape. It's a shame there aren't more connectors for making balls or glasses, but it was a good opportunity for the kids to learn to share. They're a bit thinner than the ones you get in the single packages (or at amusement parks), but you can make up for it by wearing more of them.If you don't feel like springing for both this and a necklace pack, it takes 3 bracelets to make a necklace for most kids. 2 bracelets would work for some, but you'll have to fasten it around the neck since that won't fit over too many heads.My only caution is that you don't leave these laying around near anyone who is unaware that bending them activates them and ruins them for future use. We had a very close call when someone had a large handful and came seconds from bending it and activating nearly all of them very early in the evening.

I always read reviews before purchasing a product, I am not always good at writing a review for a product, unless is terrible or EXCELLENT. I was hesitant to purchase this product because can find the glow in the dark stick at the dollar store for 5 x$1 ( not as fun shapes and they last less than half day), but i had no time and had to purchase it. To my pleasant surprise, not ONLY there is more than enough sticks ( i have left overs after a party) a lot of fun shapes but those glow in the dark sticks glow for 2 days. They are really a good product and a good value. I would totally buy those again. The only complain I have, some of the shapes on the pictures are not possible to assembly, pieces missing. HOWEVER, I did no put the pieces together so cannot really guarantee that that was a human mistake..

I used this for my daughters 16th birthday party. I generally have no complaints about the product. All pieces arrived in the box as advertised. The glow was pretty decent. It could have been a little brighter, but overall looked good. Some of the bracelets did not glow evenly after you twisted them to activate, but this may have been 5-10% of the entire set.

Decent bang for the buck. Lots of glow sticks, not super bright but they last through an evening. Mostly yellow and orange, some green, blue and pink. I didn't get any red or purple in mine. Plenty of single bracelet connectors, but I was disappointed to see that there weren't more connectors for glasses/balls. Only one person could wear the glasses, and once my friend lost them I never even had the chance because there were no more connectors. Fun kit to share with friends on pub crawls or at music festivals though.

These are very bright for about the first hour and then they fade dramatically. They stay at that level though for at least 24 hours. I put them in balloons (white) and drew a ghost face on them and hung them from the ceiling. In a completely dark room, you can kind of tell they're glowing. In a room with lights on, you can't see much. I put 3-4 in each balloon. They are very bright and pretty on their own, they just don't stay bright for very long.

No duds in this pack! In fact, these glow sticks seemed to really gleem! We do quite a bit with glow sticks in children's ministry, and these were certainly bright! You could see the glowing effects even in a well lit room!The package comes with 100 bracelet sized glow sticks in many colors. There are enough connectors to make 100 bracelets. There are several other connector pieces allowing you to form sunglasses, balls, flowers, etc. The instructions aren't super clear. In fact, its a sticker on the box with diagrams and no words. Its not complicated at all. Overall, we were very pleased.
