Very loud, unfortunatley
I know you all said it was loud - but WOW - it is so loud. I'm banned from using it around my family, even using the useless stickers on them. The cat also gives me stinkeye. But I love using it. Super satisfying. And cold. And heavy. And the hectic feedback is lovely. May need to replace the family..... and the cat.....

I can’t put it down!
I received this this morning and I haven’t been able to put it down since. I love the weight of it, the range of possible movements is great with each one satisfying in a different way. I love the sound of it - it isn’t quite but I actually don’t want it to be as I really like the sound of it both when it’s sliding and when you click it to a stop (I haven’t added the pads to it as I don’t want to make it quieter but I may get a second one so I can have one a bit quieter for when I’m around other people. I did a deep dive on fidget toys before I ordered this and very few appealed to me at all but as soon as I saw the video of this one I needed it and I am in no way disappointed with my choice!

Best fidget for adults I've bought, well worth the money.
The best fidget on the market! Quality is great. It's the perfect size and the colour makes it look cool. The grooves give it extra dimension.

Great weigh fidget
This is a successful De-stressant gadget. Bought it for my son who has ADHD and it was his favourite fidget by far, until he left it in a classroom at school and lost it 😢 he is now saving to replace it.

Really poor magents!
This is really poor, the magnets are very weak so don't expect to be do most things shown in the promo video! I have had it a couple of hours and dropped one half of it so much it's all dinged up and scratched. I watched a few YT tutorials to see if I was doing something wrong but you can hear the magents snap in their videos, whereas, these magnets are barely strong enough to keep the slider together. I wouldn't say it was calming or fun to play with because you are contantly picking it up off the floor. It has a pleasent sound to it and doesn't make to much noise so you could use this in the office on while sitting on the couch. I just wish the magnets were stronger. I wouldn't buy this and perhapes look at others. the amount and quality of the magnets really matter for this fidget.

Nice and clicky
I have had a few fidget toys and this one is the best for me. It does annoy my passenger when in the car as it does have a slight clicky noise but does not bother me so who cares lol.

This is a pretty good fidget slider that is a clone of the YC EDC Breakthrough. Magnets are decently strong for faster handling and set up in the magic play configuration just like the original. That helps give it that fast, floaty playstyle. If not to your liking, the magnets can easily be reconfigured or replaced as long as you follow a couple precautions. In case your are interested in replacing the magnets, the corners are 7mmx3mm and the middle are 5mmx2mm. In total, slightly heavier than the original (60g vs 70g) probably because titanium isn't used, regardless the build quality on these are good. A decent test which would likely be satisfying if interested in the original Breakthrough. Then you could get the original if you so desired, albeit far more expensive. For the price, this is a pretty great fidget.

The HIDEDC Mountain Fidget Slider is one of those fidgets that immediately feels more “premium” than you’d expect at its price point. From the moment you pick it up, the weight and density stand out—it has that reassuring, solid feel that makes it clear this isn’t a cheap plastic toy, but something designed for everyday carry. What really defines this slider is its trackless magnetic design. Instead of being confined to a single linear path, the movement feels fluid and open, almost like it’s gliding rather than sliding. This gives it a unique, slightly “freeform” experience compared to traditional rail-based sliders. It’s especially satisfying if you like experimenting with different hand motions or casual tricks. The magnet configuration (6+8 layout) gives it a strong, tactile feedback without being overly aggressive. Each push produces a distinct click and vibration that feels intentional and consistent. You can control the intensity depending on how you interact with it—light pressure gives a smoother glide, while firmer input produces a more pronounced, snappy response. (Amazon) Ergonomically, the “mountain” contouring isn’t just for looks—it actually helps guide your fingers naturally into place. This makes longer fidget sessions comfortable and reduces fatigue, which is something a lot of sliders get wrong. The edges are cleanly finished, so there’s no harsh biting into your fingers during repeated use. Sound-wise, it lands in a sweet spot. It’s not silent, but it’s not obnoxiously loud either. You get a crisp, satisfying click that’s noticeable enough to be enjoyable, but still usable in shared environments like an office or while relaxing nearby others. In terms of durability, it holds up well under repeated use. The magnetic resistance remains consistent, and the lack of a fixed track means there’s less risk of wear patterns forming over time. It feels like something you can absentmindedly use all day without worrying about it degrading quickly. If there’s a downside, it’s that the trackless design can take a little adjustment if you’re used to more structured sliders. Some users may prefer the predictability of a fixed path. Additionally, if you’re specifically looking for a completely silent fidget, this won’t quite hit that mark. Overall, the HIDEDC Mountain Fidget Slider strikes a strong balance between tactile satisfaction, build quality, and versatility. It’s a great option whether you’re trying to stay focused, relieve stress, or just enjoy a well-designed EDC fidget that feels good in the hand and keeps you coming back to it.

This might be one of the most addicting fidget toys I have used. I will mess with it all day. Only slight problem is that the magnets aren’t quite as strong as I would like them to be, but they are still pretty good. Help me focus on the tasks at hand. It is a good value compared to other sliders.

As others have mentioned, it's a clone of a way more expensive fidget toy. It's loud even with the teflon pads, though technically you could just use it more as something to manipulate and it would be quiet. Still, I love this thing. It's just so satisfying to hear the metallic click as the magnets lock together, even though at times it sounds a little grindy and less satisfying. I haven't been able to put it down for months. It has a small little learning curve to using it with one hand and figuring out how to push it around and get your hand out of the way. After that, I haven't even bothered learning any tricks I just move it around in an endless cycle. My fidget has survived many falls onto a wooden floor, so I'm not too worried about it breaking. Probably more likely that it damages the floor.

One of my favorite fidgets so far, love the texture of the black 2.0 model and the Teflon stickers are nice as I prefer it to the bare metal. Nice strong magnets make it grip securely both centered and edge-to-edge, helps prevent accidental drops. For some reason Amazon refuses to let me review this model separate from the 3-piece slider set by the same brand (not even close Amazon, entirely different style of toys 🤬). The set was unfortunately quite disappointing in function, though pretty they're not very functional to my tastes.
