These are perfect, not only for food storage, but for toys. You can see what's in them, and they close securely. You can put several smaller baggies inside it, with various colors of kinetic sand, craft supplies, or whatever you choose. You can also put shoes in it when you travel, or even start plants in it by putting soil, seeds, water, and hanging it in a sunny place to transplant outside when frost has passed. I've put them in hockey bags and beach bags for dirty and/or wet clothing items. I also wrap 2 chicken breasts in waxed paper or parchment and place several inside one of these freezer bags so I can freeze all the chicken together, but just take out what I need to thaw for a meal. Works better than having an 'iceberg' of frozen chicken all clumped together and need to defrost ten instead of the two you want. Also works better than freezing the 2 pieces in small baggies that get separated in your freezer. Then when you have company and need 8, you find that you don't have enough pieces.

I prefer to wash my swimsuit at the gym so I can use the swimsuit spinner, then hanging up to dry at home , and not have to worry If I forgot to wash my swimsuit. Before using this I was using a dechlorinating cleanser but just under the shower and it didn't get the chlorine out. With this bag. I can add a lot of water and two capfuls of a dechlorinate and cleanser, swish the swimsuit leave it to soak for a few minutes while I take care of other washing chores, rinse it out, and the chlorine smell is gone. So far I've only used one of these bags and it holds up pretty well.

I just love these bags as they’re so handy for organizing things! I love these bags for packing. Squish the air out and they make everything fit better in the suitcase.I also put my toiletry bag in one! If you've never had some liquid or shampoo leak out you're lucky. This prevents it from getting on your clothes.I also put the turkey carcass in one to freeze until I'm ready to make soup!The zippers have been great. They do eventually wear out of course. The thickness has been fine for all the things I use them for.
