Super bright and great quality
Let me start with these are awesome lights. VERY VERY bright. They do exactly as they should. The take down lights are a awesome add on that are also bright. The controller is a great add on and it helps to activate the lights with simple buttons and very easy to see, even at night.Pro's:Super bright even during the dayBigger buttons on controller to activate and deactivate the lightsThe way I mounted them I have very little flashback on the interior of the truckThey do not move and rattle around and no suction cups needed to install these as some of the cheaper quality ones haveCons:These are NOT plug and play and will need to be wired to a positive and ground sourceThey send you WAY too much wire for power and ground and while some vehicles can use this, not all need 5000 feet of wire to try and hide in or under the dashThe mounts for the universal brackets are kinda iffy at best, meaning I had to unscrew both of my mounts for my visors and slide them underneath them and then screw them back in. While that works just fine, to me it just looks kinda tacky and will likely be trying to do it better in the future,The wire from the passenger visor to the drivers side visor bar is again extremely to long. Unless the vehicle has a 5ft gap, that much is overkill and I have it looped around my rear view mirror and I still have a ton left,I never got a email for the instructions so I had to search for them, and it wasn't really clear which light bar I had to install the visor brackets, either send paper instructions or send the proper name of the bar so they can be locatedOverall, great lights. As a volunteer firefighter I need bright lights on my personal vehicle to get to the fire station when responding to a call and these are the best I can find. They work great in daylight and even brighter in nighttime. Worth the money. But don't expect a 5 min install. Took me about a hour due to trying to hide the insane amount of wire they send with it. I also cut down the aux wires they sent with since again, it was around 50ft of that. Now truth be told I'm exaggerating the length of wire but it's way to much for a basic visor light bar setup in my opinion. Take it for what you will. I also drive a 05 escalade and still had a hell of a time hiding these wires. But it's worth it once it's done and running!

Bright lights, many patterns, difficult to install.
I don't know where to start with these lights. I'm under the impression that your expected to pay for professional installation and these are not the most DIY friendly lights. Their instructions tell you how to put the brackets on and that's about where it stops. Theres even a few bracket pieces that came with the lights that i'm not even sure what they're for. These lights are not friendly for older vehicles and i did an install in my 2002 Mazda B3000 (ford ranger). I got the red/white alternating lightbar and once i installed the brackets to the lights i eventually drove a small screw into the double-walled portion of the ceiling in my truck cab to secure the lights, they aren't going anywhere now but unless they are flush against the windshield with the rubber gasket on, they reflect against the windshield pretty bad. Installing the electronics can be easy or hard depending on your experience level, i simply drilled a hole in my firewall, ran the wires to the battery, secured the excess with zipties and sealed around the hole/wires with silicone. I am a fan of the control panel and the buttons. I like the numerous patterns that come with the light and the auxiliary wires for rigging up additional lights to the control panel through the AUX button. Depending on the size of your vehicle, the wires that run between the two visor light units can have alot of excess to bundle up and manage. The light units themselves are fairly slim and stay out of the way of my dashcam and rearview mirror. And with my tint strip, you can't even tell i have the lights installed from the outside until i turn them on. They are decently bright in the daylight as well if you're directly infront of them. The takedowns are fairly nice too and can be used independently of the emergency lights. These lights are hit and miss.PROS- Bright lighting.- Nice control panel with additional features for auxiliary lights.- Takedown lights are pretty nice.- Slim profile helps with vision and cosmetics, these things look really nice and professional once installed.CONS- Pain to install, not DIY friendly, lack of literature, instructions and online resources to aid in installing them, leaving you to figure it out and "gun it".- Brackets are difficult to work with, require a lot of bending and the installation seems to require a lot of improvising to achieve a firm installation.- Not older vehicle friendly it seems.- Wiring is a bit of a nightmare to manage. They sell specialized brackets for specific vehicles separately, they seem to be for relatively newer models. These may or may not aid in easier installation. In the end, these are functioning lights, they don't seem cheaply built and I'm sure they'll last a while. It just solely depends on how YOU plan to utilize them and install them. They were difficult for me to install, may not be the case with the next person. Knowing what i now know, i would've just paid for professional installation. I'm happy with the end result however the sheer unfriendliness dealing with all the components leaves me unable to leave a 4 or 5 star review of this product. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE HARDWARE, one of the nuts for mounting the brackets wasn't even threaded and i had to go out and buy another one.

Brightest strobes out there!
These lights are blinding! I work on the roads and like having lots of lights and being seen. These definitely add to my “being seen”! It’s easy to install as it is plug and play. The hardest part is to send through cabin to battery. Other than that, with the amount of different brackets that come with it, I cant imagine having issues. The windshield reflector does allow a little light through, as it doesn't lay completely on the curve of the windshield. But honestly, I’m ok with that as the backlit blue button isn’t very visible during sunny days, I can tell my strobes are on. One thing is true. You can’t please everyone. Sorry SpeedTech Lights...Several people are complaining about these lights and their brackets. It’s not fair that the company that provides an awesome product gets a lower review because you can’t figure out how to operate or install properly. These are universal brackets. It’s designed to fit a multitude of vehicles. It’s not going to fit like a glove all the time. I have to say that on my 14’ F150, it almost does fit like a glove. So if you’re thinking about buying these lights, trust me when I tell you, worth every penny! They went in and out of “my cart” for a few months as I have already spent about $500 on different strobes for the front and back and was hesitant to drop another $200. Just do it & you will love them!
