Great food, decent value for money
My two boy kittens love this food (as does my 10 year old girl cat even though she knows she shouldn't be stealing it). Order arrived today from amazon with the box intact but the bag of food was ripped open at the back. Awaiting a replacement from amazon now, but no complaints about the quality of the food. I don't want to give the cats cheap brand foods with its low meat content but equally, expensive brands like royal canin are no better in meat and taurine content! This is a happy medium.

High Quality & High Meat Content
I recently switched to Applaws Complete Natural and Grain Free Dry Kitten Food for my furry friends, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The fact that it contains 80% Chicken proteins is impressive and assures me that my kittens and cats are getting the high-quality nutrition they need to grow. One of the most noticeable benefits is that this food has settled my cats' stomachs, eliminating the problem of loose stools. It's such a relief to see them happy and comfortable after mealtime. Additionally, the food has a pleasant smell, which is a bonus for both me and my cats. It makes feeding time more enjoyable, and I appreciate that it doesn't have any artificial additives or fillers. But the ultimate test is whether my cats love it, and they absolutely do! They eagerly devour each meal, and their energy levels and overall health have noticeably improved since switching to this brand. I highly recommend Applaws Complete Natural and Grain Free Dry Kitten Food to any cat owner who wants to provide their kittens with a nutritious, stomach-friendly, and delicious meal. It's a top-notch product that has exceeded my expectations.

Good nutritious food but it stinks
My cat really likes Applaws dry food in all flavours, it gives her a very soft, shiny coat. I'm generally happy with it for quality, nutrition, etc. However, I must say it smells quite unpleasant. It's a very musty, almost fart-like smell that fills the room. That's pretty much the only negative thing I have to say. Maybe other people don't smell it as much because their cat is served a small portion at specific times, eats it, and it's gone till next meal time. However, I free-feed my cat she never eats the full portion; she grazes throughout the day. And she also has an automated (non-air-tight) feeder that dispenses more food, so she always has some in her bowl, so that's probably the main difference between those complaining about the smell and those saying it's not that bad.

My cats love it I think it’s good value for money
Applaws Complete Natural and Grain Free Dry Kitten Chicken Packaging: Applaws is known for its sleek and informative packaging. The bag should be durable to protect the food from moisture and external elements, and it should have a resealable closure to maintain freshness. Ingredients: Carefully scrutinize the ingredient list. Look for high-quality protein sources, and in this case, chicken should be a primary ingredient. The absence of grains aligns with the grain-free claim. Additional beneficial ingredients like vitamins, minerals, and omega fatty acids contribute to the overall nutritional value. Nutritional Content: Evaluate the guaranteed analysis for protein, fat, and carbohydrate content. For kitten food, a higher protein content is generally preferred to support their growth and development. Adequate fat levels provide essential energy, and a balanced carbohydrate ratio ensures nutritional completeness. Texture and Kibble Size: Consider the size and texture of the kibble. It should be small enough for kittens to manage comfortably, especially if they are transitioning from wet to dry food. The texture should promote dental health through appropriate chewing. Taste and Palatability: The real test lies in your kitten's reaction. If the food is palatable and your kitten enjoys it, they are more likely to maintain a healthy appetite and receive essential nutrients. Monitor your kitten's response to ensure they adapt well to the flavor. Digestibility: A quality kitten food should be easily digestible. Check for the inclusion of probiotics or other digestive aids that contribute to a healthy gut flora. This is crucial for kittens as they have sensitive digestive systems. Health Benefits: An excellent kitten food should promote overall health. Look for added benefits such as a shiny coat, healthy skin, and support for the immune system. Ingredients like antioxidants can contribute to these health aspects. Price and Value for Money: Consider the cost relative to the quality and quantity of the product. While high-quality ingredients may result in a higher price, the overall value should align with the nutritional benefits provided. Feedback and Reviews: Seek feedback from other cat owners who have used Applaws Complete Natural and Grain-Free Dry Kitten Food. Real-world experiences can provide insights into how well the food meets the nutritional needs of kittens and whether it has positively impacted their health. Always be mindful of any changes in the product formulation, and check for the latest information on the manufacturer's website or the product packaging. Your veterinarian can also offer guidance on selecting the best kitten food for your pet's specific needs

Cat seemed to like it, but not suitable for my sensitive cat
I bought this while trialing different cat foods. My Sphynx seemed to really enjoy the flavour. The product itself seems fine, but unfortunately my cat can’t tolerate it due to her sensitive stomach.

I recommend 'Applaws' dry kitten biscuits. Bought twice on Amazon now.
My Ragdoll eats a combination of dry 'Applaws' kitten biscuits and wet food. This biscuit is so good for her and will continue to buy this product even though I did also experience a tare in packaging on my first delivery (Amazon were quick to resolve this issue for me) Wet Foods have been difficult to select, the 'Applaws' wet foods were not liked at all. I have tried many brands, at first; M&S and Coop own brand (4% meat content) complete food pouches which Willow, my female ragdoll was used to when I first got her. She was infrequently sick but also her stools were runny and extremely smelly. Vet advice was that this food is poor quality as is ‘felix’, ‘whiskas’. Try cereal and grain free food with a higher meat content, at least 40% meat content for better digestion and health. Products I have tried include, ‘morrsions’ 40% meat and grain free pate tray 100g for 40p ideally given in two meals lasting one day. This was enjoyed by the cats and if multipacks were available I would probably keep them on this food but 40p per tray not as cost effective as the ‘Classic Wet cat food in jelly Tins from pets at home’ This food is similar but not a pate, chunks in jelly which can be mashed easily to create a pate which I did at first, cats enjoy this. The more expensive options I have tried included ‘Applaws’ wet cat food selection in broth Tins and pouches. Pros are high meat content, grain free. Cons, Cats do not like it much at all, will avoid eating it. I tried also ‘Encore’ tins and cans, also ‘HiLife’ pouches also high meat content, grain free but cats not keen. This all had a similar texture of real flaked meat pieces which I would have thought more appetising to them. In conclusion, for my cats, ‘Classic wet cat food meat and fish in jelly’ is the best option for me and them. It is good value and is grain free, high meat content, available on Amazon and Pets at Home. I spent a long time testing and trying, that's why I felt it worth the review if this helps others in the quest to choose a cat food. I will continue using the 'applaws' dry food from Amazon and haven't found anything as good as this.
