I've had this knife for around 6 months now. The reason I gave it only three stars is because it arrived at my house so dull. I spent quite a bit of time sharpening it on my K.O. Worksharp with the blade grinding attachment before it was nice and sharp. I don't know if the average guy would be able to get it nice and sharp without too much trouble or paying someone to sharpen the knife. I was able to put a very nice edge on the blade and it has held up. It's a pretty large knife and I primarily use it for batonning fairly large pieces of firewood. I've abused it quite a bit and it's still holding a pretty good edge. I would have rated it at least 4 or maybe even 5 stars if it hadn't been so dull when I got it. That said, it's still a nice knife and definitely a good value.

I love this knife. It is well made and couldn't be any better for the price. Definitely going to purchase a few of the other designs they have because the price is to good to pass up. Just needed to fine tune the blade a bit, but you always should.

This a quality blade made for survival uses, it is extremely hard to sharpen. But once I got it sharp to my liking. It held its edge very well and it is extremely tough. I used it for chopping and processing firewood. I love this knife.

Why are there no reviews? Just got this beautiful blade in today took it out put it threw its paces and all i can say is wow! After chopping,feathers,splitting its still hair popping sharp......amazing product for the price...get the word out Quality quality quality pull the trigger you will not be disappointed! I thought I would give knife a chance and I love it. It is beautiful and the quality is really good for the cost. I will continue to buy from this company and I will carry this knife on duty

CFK made several knives like this...but this one is mine. I don't want you to touch it, not to mention to use it. If you want to experience this AWESOME knife just buy one. You'll be glad you did.
