I am happy that means that fewer people have as profound and crazy long term deficiency of magnesium than before. I have been buying magnesium glycinate from MicroIngredients for over ten years precisely because I know that it is very important but I also know that I am really bad at eating the things that have magnesium. Magnesium glycinate is probably the most bioavailable form and one of the few that will not increase the amount of water in the colon which means that it will not have any laxative effect beyond what is caused by people incautiously increasing their intake of magnesium too quickly. So many people are walking around with every muscle fiber as taught as a violin string and can't find a minute of peace and all they need is enough magnesium. There is evidence that someone taking 500mg of elemental magnesium will experience an improvement in their mood within a month and that alone should tell someone that can't relax and get comfortable and find restful sleep just how important as well as how big the deficit of magnesium in their body actually is.MicroIngredients used to use bags for their supplements and, in a way, I am really sad to see the bags go. I could imagine someone being able to save people some money by repurposing a potato chip bagging machine or something, it had a kind of SAAB (ante GM) feeling to it.

These seem to work well so far, I do get noticeably calmer and more tired when I take these before bed. Only took a star off because I do feel groggy sometimes the next morning if I took it too late the night before and the pills are huge and a bit hard to swallow in my opinion. Seems like a good value for the money though, the bottle is pretty huge.

This is a triple strength magnesium glycinate supplement compared to the dosage that I normally take, so right off the bat I'm definitely pleased with this purchase! I've been using this supplement to help me relax & sleep better by taking it about an hour before bedtime, from my own personal experience I can honestly say that it does help to subtly calm & relax me prior to bedtime. Even my grandchildrens' pediatrician suggested magnesium glycinate for them before bedtime in place of the "other" natural supplement that starts with an M, as she didn't approve of that for long term. My doctor as well recommended magnesium glycinate for me as well. I've had zero adverse effects from this product, they're easy to swallow & tolerate.These are my personal opinions & experiences with the supplement & doctor advisories, and meant only as my honest review of this product. These magnesium supplements are pretty good quality overall. The amount of magnesium per serving is good, and they're easy to take. The type of magnesium is also ideal and should help most people with sleep and overall health. I do personally prefer a magnesium spray for better absorption, and it's way cheaper in the long run. But, if you're looking for a pill version, this is one of the better ones I've tried.

I have used one other micro ingredients product and was thoroughly impressed so is excited to try this magnesium glycinate. So far so good. I feel like I'm sleeping a little better. And I feel more relaxed.
