I’m very impressed as this eye liner stays put it does not make my eyes run with allergy tears. It doesn’t run under my lashes. I like it. I’m 73.

So easy to apply and you can get a lovely lash line that looks very natural. My second purchase as I now don’t want to be without it as it’s definitely waterproof and doesn’t irritate my eyes which are prone to water in the cold weather. I use their matching mascara as well as it’s equally effective. BTW I’m 75!

I have never used an eye pencil type applicator before. I have always used an eyeliner brush and a small jar of eyeliner gel. I have to dab the gel onto my bottom eyelids and most often, the product goes on a little thicker than i want so I have to use a Q-tip to remove the dark area OR take it all off and start again. But this product makes applying eyeliner so easy. Granted, it does not apply very dark. I found I have to apply a little more pressure. But the process is easy once you get the knack of applying it to your own eyes. I got "Wood Brown" which is perfect for me. It is a subtle soft brown --not a blackish brown or very dark brown. I like a natural look so this definitely made my eyes look less tired and alive. It doesn't smudge during the day and is easily removed with any good make up remover. I happen to use Clinique Take the Day Off make up remover. A tiny bit on a Q-tip removes it. It may also come off when I wash my face. Again, I do not put on a lot on my botoom lid and I don't apply to my top lid.At 76 years old, I think "less is more"

I was 50 this year and as much as I hate to my interest being peaked by adverts for products for 'mature women', I have to say this one is very helpful! Eyesight failing, it's increasingly difficult to apply eye make up when I have to remove my glasses, even with a horrifyingly magnified mirror. This guy has really sorted out my eyeliner issues. I have always worn black liquid eyeliner on my top lid, flicking out to a wing. Then I saw (good) advice for as ageing women to apply a liner on the top water line, instead of above the lashes. It really does keep your eyes a bit more open. But doing this with a liquid eyeliner risks you literally dropping blackness into your eye – so I decided to try a pencil instead. I've tried this sort of soft pencil before, but they've never been all that soft. THIS one is soft and it really does glide on, so easily. No drag. And also no nasty wood around the nib which might scratch you. So I can easily blacken my upper water line, then stretch it out a little beyond the edge and then use the smudger to make a wing! It's really quick and easy, and still gives me the dramatic effect (drama queen) I like. It stays on all day – and will only smudge if really given a hard wipe. It's not entirely waterproof (try not to cry), but it does last. It's not cheap, but against other expensive brands who do a similar design of eyeliner, this has been the best one I've tried.
