Product Description This tasting pack includes 3 x 20 cl bottles of our bruichladdich single malt whisky- 1 x classic laddie (unpeated), 1 x islay barley (unpeated) and 1 x port charlotte (heavily peated). the classic laddie - this single malt scotch whisky has been crafted by master distiller jim mcewan from individually selected casks to showcase the classic, floral and elegant bruichladdich house style. Unpeated, it is our signature bottling and the definitive bruichladdich. made from 100 percentage scottish barley, trickle distilled, then matured for its entire life on the shores of lochindaal in premium american and european oak, it is bottled on islay at 50 percentage without chill filtration or caramel added. The islay barley - we have made commitments to the farmers on islay and now in year 12 of the project, we are proud to source 25 percentage of all of our barley on islay. This, in spite of voracious geese, opportunistic deer and violent wild, west atlantic storms that seek to scupper us. The result is a fascinating exploration of terroir - single malt made from 100 percentage islay barley, by islay people, in warehouses at the distillery and then bottled with pure islay spring water. We believe terroir matters. Port charlotte scottish barley - peated to a heavyweight 40 ppm, port charlotte showcases the supreme elegance of this remarkable single malt - a union of the classic floral elegance of bruichladdich and heavy peat.
