Purchased this specifically for camping, like many I enjoy reading by a campfire and I'm not always reading with my Kindle so I need extra light. I was instantly sold by the fan addition on this, genius! I am VERY pleasantly surprised by this gadget. The fan is very nice, it doesn't blast up into your face, instead it goes around your neck. It has several speeds and has great power. The lights work well, and provide ample light even when the fans are on.What also surprised me was the weight, I was nervous this was going to be clunky or heavy to use and it isn't either at all. It's very comfortable, lightweight and overall easy to use. My only complaint is that you have to charge each side instead of the device as a whole, but a minor inconvenience for such a cool item.

To start, let me just say BUY THIS FAN! LOL.Ok to start I never would have paid money for this fan as I find it ugly as heck and I thought the design was wonky in comparison to what I've bought before. Apparently I'm shallow.. as this is the best working neck fan I've ever used, also the weird neck keeps it from both sliding off your neck if you are sweaty and from moving around (the grumpy bumps are awesome). I've only used it with my hair up but it hasn't pulled my hair unlike the last brand I tried.I do not know and can't review if hair can get stuck in the fan part as I've not worn my hair down with it on.It got a 4 star instead of 5 not really because it was ugly but more so the charging situation. It comes with a split cord to charge in the bottom of both sides at once, well that is not convenient for me. That means I can't charge it in my car, or at work, or anywhere else with my normal cords, and I'm for sure not carrying a cord around with me.

good reading lights with fans. like the airflow, it makes the air even fresher to breathe. the fan speed is good considering how quiet it is. design is good, easy to hang around your neck and forget it even exists. good value for money. hope it is durable and last long.

My body temperature runs quite warm and I get overheated a lot. I love to read and have been using this to keep myself cool while I sit and read -- the additional feature of the lights is such a great bonus. Especially when I'm reading on a plane and the cabin is dark.The only criticism I have is that there is no on/off button, you have to rotate through the entire cycle of fan settings to turn it off. And the light button is the same as the fan button. It's not a great design -- it's not frustrating enough to keep me from using it. I get a lot of use out of it and really like it. But the button control design needs to be updated.
