Great during power failures
Great French coffee press...heat water to boiling on a sterno chaffee dish, pour hot water into press already filled with coffee. Let sit for 5 minutes and wa la hot coffee

Problem with the size.
I have the 12oz cork and I like it, but when you wash it make sure to watch out for the glass part it may fall out of the metal frame, and it will not hold 12oz with 3 scoop of ground coffee, So The best you can get is 2 strong or 3 light cup.

Shatters very easily
Even used with great caution I’ve now had two shatter. I gently tapped it this time. Not buying again.

Habe sie meinem Freund Geschenkt er benutzt sie jeden morgen und ist sehr zufrieden. Selbst wenn er sie nicht sofort sauber macht (also immer) lässt sie sich noch gut reinigen. Die Kanne wirkt stabil und wirklich gut verarbeitet und sieht durch den Kork Deckel auch sehr hochwertig aus.

Mon allié de choc au petit déjeuner...
Je l'utilise pour préparer mon thé (même principe qu'avec le café ) . C'est super pratique pour infuser. Facile à nettoyer. Et le liège donne un côté chaleureux et cosy. Il se fond à merveille dans notre cuisine !
