A cute albino male witch fights our monsters for us...
... and we still hate him because he's different. Good thing he doesn't care. Great fantasy novel, refreshing, and different from anything else you have written. Imaginative monsters, great ways to tackle them, and pure magic - the kind you always wanted to read about. The characters are highly developed, the little tiny love theme is not obnoxious, and the world of magic described is wonderful and charming as well as scary and interesting. I wish this book were available in English and/or not out of print. I highly recommend it as one of the basics for your fantasy collection.

The Witcher books are some of the best fantasy novels available. I would recommend everyone read the original Witcher story instead of watching the series, as the storyline in the series differs significantly from that in the books.
