I think "ceremonial" used for this product is purely marketing. They use green matcha tea and other actual teas in ceremonial traditions. "Ceremonial grade green tea matcha is made from the youngest tea leaves with all the stems and veins removed to obtain a very smooth flavour and texture." Blue matcha does not come from a tea leaf.
