Same price as refurbished but NEW
Good product and with no major issues. Definitely original and new despite the same price as refurbished devices. It arrived in the original Google packaging, never opened. The only downside is that it arrived with the battery completely out of juice (that is not ideal considering that it can degrade the battery health), but despite that, the battery measured at 98% health, so no big deal

Why did you choose this product over others?: I love Google pixel phones. Easy and fast functionality! Phone quality is excellent. I've brought 2, one for me and one for my husband. We both highly recommend. Good sound quality and easy to use.

No De-googling today 😔
The phone itself is great. Just a heads up for those who may want to de-google it. You can't. It's a Verizon phone and as far I gather the bootloader can't be unlocked ... Maybe if you have a degree in Android, and maybe not, depending on which blogs you read. I don't have that qualification but neither would I consider myself a Luddite, and I couldn't get it to unlock. If you manage it, I'd be interested to find out how. Anyway, maybe save someone some heartache lol I kept the phone by the way and it works great. Brand new, boxed and sealed as per the blurb 👍🏻

Great upgrade from pixel 6
So the upgrade from pixel 6 to 7 meant for a faster chip and brighter, higher refresh rate. But slightly disappointed the face recognition doesn't really work due to security issues. For that you have to go to pixel 8 which was beyond my budget. But newer phone to me and longer lasting battery and didn't heat up as much
