White Hawaiian Butterfly Ginger Rhizome Bare Root

I am looking forward to having my white ginger bloom they smell so nice! Working with the seller for replacement was easy and they were great! Quick response.

I planted the root last week of Jan and keeping it moist and in a sunny spot. Some new root came out and a small sprout on the other end. But then weather has been cold and it doesn’t grow much since middle of February. It didn’t die but I don’t really know how to write my review. I will write update when warm weather is here and when I get a plant!

I have grown white ginger before at another home and loved the smell and how the plants look. I planted this small root as instructed and had to wait 4 weeks to see if it would sprout. It did not, and the return period had ended. There should be some other option for bulbs and roots sold through amazon, but apparently not.

I ordered the White Ginger package back in April and neither root sprouted. I contacted the seller and they graciously sent another package. I’m happy to say both have sprouted and seem healthy. I am happy with this purchase and very happy with their customer service.

I am only giving it a 2-star because I planted this 2 weeks ago and nothing is happening yet. If it sprouts in the next 2 weeks I will come back to adjust the rating.

I am happy with the customer service. The first one I ordered didn’t sprout, I am not sure why but they sent me another one and that sprouted within a week . I am happy and can’t wait for flowers to bloom.

Nothing yet still waiting for it to sprout,hopefully it does.
