The frustration free packaging is a brown box with the product unattached to the packaging, where as the retail packaging is in the Fisher-Price packaging found at retail.

I would think Babies 6 month plus would enjoy this toy.

The entire toy is covered with a thin felt material. There is a crinkly layer on top that is of a crinkly material which is tactically playful.
