My housemate bought a similar model from a big-box store and loved it until it fell apart after a few years of daily use. Although these are technically fish spatulas, we don't use them for that much of the time. They're sturdy, high quality, lightweight, and just the right shape for any type of pan frying. Mostly we use them for eggs and sausage or bacon, and the occasional omelette. Flipping is perfect. This time we ended up with a set of two. Good heat resistance on the silicone, so we have just the right size for whatever we're cooking. .

I was dubious that these would be thin enough for delicate fish and eggs. In reality, they work just great! Now I can flip away and not worry about scratching the pan. Bravo!

These spatulas have become my go-to utensils for sauteing, flipping fish, making scrambled eggs, and many other things. The red silicone edges are key and work extremely well. I like the smaller spatula best because it fits my hand so well. The only thing to look out for when cooking with coated pans is not to notch or scrape your pan with the relatively sharp edges of o the metal parts of the spatula.

This is a quite serviceable spatulas. It is the correct weight and works equally well on glass, stainless steel, ceramic. Non-stick, and seasoned cast-iron. The red silicon is cheerful-looking. After 6 months of heavy, continuous use the silicon is beginning to pull off the end of the spatula at one side. The second one was given to a friend, who uses it less frequently. Hers shows no wear. I will order this again.

I love the idea, everyone should have fish spatulas - much easier to get under everything. The silicone helps protects your pans as well. EDIT: Despite concerns listed below, their customer service reached out to make things right and confirm the issues I called out have been addressed by their product team for future purchasers. I had two main issues. First, the handle is a bit los, had to bend one so it wouldn't slip off and wrapped the other with tape and slide the handle over it and it's been perfect. Second and larger issue, the silicone on my larger one started breaking off the metal, only owned for less than a year - so this was a big issue behind the two stars

These 2 spatulas are fabulous and work well in any kind of pan… non-stick or cast iron. I use them almost every time I am cooking. Great value with the 2 sizes and very well made.

We were getting rid of our black plastic flippers and I came across an Epicurious ad about the “fish flippers”. Although there is some black plastic, it’s only on the handle and is not in contact with food. The metal is flexible and is ideal for flipping or serving fish, lasagne and other foods. I like the silicon lip as it helps protect the pan against scrapes.

Handle loose after 3 uses. Only had it for 1 week. Always had it hand washed. Disappointed because tool was useful
