Are you worthy?
I love this thing! It's beautiful, easy to clean, and it looks great hanging up in the kitchen. My only wish is that it was bigger, but then it would probably be impossible to use.I can't speak to the long-term durability of it. The welds seem a little under kill, but it's definitely not a commercial tenderizer, anyway.

LOVE IT
It seemed a little pricey, but it was worth every penny. My partner bought it and was SO excited to open the package and use it. Very cool little tool!!

Cute but the top is hollow
Knocking a star because the metal part is actually hollow and not very heavy

Very nice.
Well I can pick it up, so I am worthy. I did hold it up in the air, expecting lightning bolts to come down and transform me into Thor. I WAS NOT COOKING though. Maybe if I do it while preparing food I will become COOKING THOR!! Not sure.Is a gift irregardless. Hope they can lift it. Haha.Seems to b made well. Inscription is nice looking. Shure it will pound meat fine. Not sure if it is threaded on or just glued. Hopefully it's at least both. If I'm told it had a massive breakdown I'll b shure to update as such.

Not exactly a meat tenderizer
Product is fairly lightweight, not sure how practical it will be. I guess it will be a fun gift to give anyway. Box came damaged.Update: my boyfriend loves this! Great gift for any Marvel fan. They’ll feel like Thor. He uses it and it seems to work well enough.

Buyer beware, this is not solid it is hollow and fairly thin.
I was extremely disappointed to find out that this is hollow and not solid like a meat tenderizer should be. They should at least explain that in the description. It is too light to work properly as a meat tenderizer. Novelty or not, if you’re gonna call it a meat tenderizer, make it a meat tenderizer.

Tenderize meat with the power of Thor
Accidentally cracked my countertop and the lightning it produced made my cat's fur stand on end. My wife can't pick it up, like it weighs 2000 lbs, but I wield it with ease.

I just use it for breaking up bags of ice
I was a bit wary because it is hollow. But for my needs (a thicker stainless steel it seems), it breaks up ice that has been in the freezer too long beautifully. Ant it says Thor! Loving it. The handle screws off so it is easy to wash and dry. I am sure it will last a long time, especially if I used it only for what it was intended.

you want me to put the hammer down!
this meaty thing is very cool...though i will never use it as a meat tenderizer it does look very cool sitting on my shelf!!! lol....bit pricey but looks awesome...handle nicely wrapped in leather as well!!!...a must have for any thor fan!

A bit small and light to actually be a proper tenderiser.
When I purchased this product I thought to myself - "Oh hey, cool, Thor's hammer, and I NEED a meat tenderizer, bit pricey but it's a novelty!".After receiving it, I'm now thinking I paid A LOT just for a novelty item - it seems to be less sturdy than a plastic replica "Thor's Hammer" I bought from the toy-store for my son!Whilst the actual product looks quite cool (although small), it's not nearly as heavy or weighty as a "regular" meat-tenderizing hammer would be. If you want something for actual food prep, I'd suggest buying a normal (cheaper) hammer. For the Novelty value of the item - yeah it's ok.

Great Value
A little light for tenderising so it is on the mantle piece along with my Captain America cutting board :-)
