This dual 2200W electric cooktop has been an amazing addition to my kitchen. Both infrared burners heat up quickly and evenly, making it great for boiling, frying, or simmering. GREAT Hotplate - Temporary replacement of stove top burner while kitchen is being redone. Works very well. Yes - we easily boiled water with it. Wish for 3 improvements: 1) knob gets very hot during use and almost burns fingers to turn it off. 2) wish it had an indicator that surface is still hot as it takes a while to cool down. There is red light on the top, but it is always glowing. 3) The mark on the knob is too tiny to see how it is set. We just took a magic marker and darkened the line on the face and side of the knob so it is easy to tell how you have it set. FYI: Instructions say don't turn on without a pan on top of it. Has not been an issue. For our use, it is a great heating surface.

No ha pasado ni un año y ya está roto, y ni siquiera lo uso todos los días. No se puede regular la temperatura, al conectarlo se enciende directamente, y se pone al máximo. Asi no se puede usar para cocinar algunos alimentos. La verdad no lo recomiendo. Está caro para tan mala calidad.

Really quick to heat up food, one thing though is that you have to disconnect the entire stove to turn it off.

I contacted the seller via message; they were very professional and courteous, and they sent me a new unit at no additional cost. So, if you decide to go with this product, rest assured that the customer service is excellent—they will send you a replacement if yours malfunctions. The new one looks great and works perfectly.
