Nice machine. It is pretty heavy duty. Even the plastic bucket is quite heavily made in my opinion. Easy to set up and is big enough to make alot of ice cream in one shot. It is worth the money in my opinion as well.

Hurray for Homemade!
This is a great ice cream maker. I feel it works well and does a good job freezing my ice concoctions. It send to be well built and I anticipate using it for years to come. Nothing beats homemade ice cream!

Perfect memory maker
This ice cream maker is like a little time machine straight back to childhood summers. The wooden exterior has that charming, old-fashioned lookโlike the โreal dealโ from the good old daysโand it instantly sets the scene for homemade treats and happy chaos in the kitchen. One of my favorite parts is that it comes with a manual mixer, which means you can proudly put the grandkids on churn-duty and show them how ice cream used to be made (a.k.a. the sweetest kind of โworkโ). And when everyoneโs had their turn and youโre ready to wrap it up, you can switch over to the electric motor to finish the job with ease. Itโs quiet, quick, and surprisingly efficient, and the barrel is roomy enough to make plenty of ice cream for a holiday gathering or family get-together. Ours has held up really well so far, and for the price, it feels like an excellent valueโboth for the dessert and the memories it makes.

Did someone say ice cream?
So this summer my old ice cream maker broke. Let me just say that was a tragedy in my home because my boys love ice cream. We bought the Elite Gourmet for court electric ice cream maker. I like how it is quieter than my old one. It is easy to clean. It is well made. The only drawback is the freeze time. It takes a little bit longer to make the ice cream. However it does the job. And definitely worth its value.

Just like the old-fashioned crank ice cream maker, but electricity does The Work. I love mine.

Incompetence at its finest.
I don't know where to start with this and how badly it went wrong before I could even NOT use it. Also it is beyond me that it didn't even come with anything it was supposed to. 1. They failed to not only miss several pieces it seems nothing attached correctly. 2. Nothing attaches correctly so the device can not be set up correctly. 3. How do you miss pieces ... That literally makes it run is a skill beyond mine. I didn't think it was a talent to miss pieces for a machine but I mean this is America and it's run by 'special men'. 4. I tried several ways to get pieces to attache correctly but they fall right off and out when I flip them to be on top. 5. There is not bottom to hold the can. The container has a giant bump on the bottom and the metal can won't sit well. 6. The device is a joke and clearly someone who shouldn't be allowed to live with this low of an IQ but I'm not thrilled. 7. Lucky number 7! Also came with zero directions. I swear when humans go extinct will be the happiest day ever. Is it really that difficult to build a device that works, send all the pieces together and have it work? No apparently the seller is inadequate and incompetent. Don't know who or how this worked for anyone but this is garbage and a waste of money, time, effort and energy. Hard to say that this is a user error, even turned it on. It spun the metal can and the plastic pieces just fell out ๐คฃ๐คฃ Tried to upload a video but this archaic app doesn't load. Note: I would leave infinity negative stars. One of my biggest issues with humanity is it's inability to create a functioning device. I think all our critical capable thinkers are a miss.

We made UBE and COCONUT--next up: KIWI and MANGO!
We have made ice cream twice in tropical flavors that you can't get from a store. It's a great value and easy to use. It comes with complete instructions that are so detailed, it's easy to overlook how very simple it is. There's a booklet with recipes for not only ice cream, but frozen yogurt, gelato, and sherbet. The first batch we made, it was delicious but the volume of ice cream was low, about the same as the volume of ingredients we added so we were not disappointed, just surprised. The next batch, we increased the proportion of heavy whipping cream and let it churn longer than the recommended 30 minutes. It doubled in size!! We are still working on the last pint! Re cost effectiveness...if you are happy with low-priced regular flavor ice cream, there's nothing wrong with that. We're lucky to live in an international community where we can buy exotic flavors of ice cream (e.g., ube, mango, etc), but it's very expensive. In some communities you can't get those flavors at all. With this machine, over time we will save money because it's cheaper to make than buy and the machine will pay for itself. One thing I'm looking forward to is making ice cream with a higher protein content (with Greek yogurt) and less sugar. The machine gives you the freedom to meet your own dietary needs, depending on your goals. You can even make vegan frozen treats. Our part of the US is having a heat wave, and I'm so glad I bought this ice cream maker. The whole family is enjoying it.

Wow. Extremely frustrated. Just received my package and it is completely mangled, even though it was packed in a much larger box upside-down. I'm afraid to open it. This was a gift for my granddaughter. There aren't enough negative stars to give!!
