Is there an opalescent look to the nail veil?

No.  I can only comment on shade 4.  It has a slightly pink color.  It is like clear with a light pink cast.  There is a nice shine to the nail after application.  One coat is sufficient.  Sometimes I use a second coat.

Does this come off with standard nail polish remover? Or is it like no chip gel?

This formula contains AHAs to help promote cell turnover to help encourage cell turnover and remove damaged cells from the nail plate. While it provides humectant properties to allow nails to retain moisture and hydration, there shouldn’t be any splitting or drying.

This formula is made with Londontown’s signature 21+ free formula, but I’ve provided a full list of ingredients below that may be helpful:

Sometimes it can be helpful to use moisturizers or balms prior to applying any polish to keep your nails looking healthy and hydrated. If you’re interested, we do have a Restorative Nail Cream that helps to replenish dry, cracked, or brittle nails.

How is this veil different from Kur nail concealer?

I've never used the concealer but the veil is a translucent coating with a light pink cast. I use it alone with no polish.  Gives nails a subtle "cared for" appearance.
