These are very expensive, yes, but if you play a lot, and you put into perspective that this is you primary method of interacting with and experiencing the game - it’s worth it. It feels better, I can aim better, the battery life is so convenient, I charge it like once every two weeks LOL. Plus it’s sexy AF

Great Controller with long battery life, I loved the color it comes with red cable also.

This is the number one pro controller on the market but I’d advice buying the extra warranty from Microsoft or wherever you can it’s notorious for stick drift problems and bumper problems and Amazon warehouse deals are great for this

Well, this is another piece of evidence that Microsoft is much better in making hardware than software, which does not say too much on its own... First and foremost: Elite Series 2 controller is obscenely expensive and they don't even give you the dragonfly pads in the box. Yeesh. Get it on sale; as rare and as pathetic as they are, they do happen. That's why I have the red one - black one was not on sale... But, it does feel like it was built in a Nokia 3310 factory. I'm confident that it can be stuffed in and shot out of a sail-ship cannon if you happen to run out of cannonballs. Having one of these flying towards my ship would certainly give me a sinking feeling... Kidding aside, this thing is hard and heavy. It is obvious there are decades of experience behing the design of this controller and it feels as robust and comfortable as it is expensive. My hands are on the largish side and it isn't too hard to find a controller that feels too small for my grip - but this ain't it. I got a set of metal replacement pads and thumbsticks and plugged in the dragonfly flaps. I have no idea how long the battery lasts, I did not have to charge it yet - been a dozen hours. If you want to use it without the wire to play on a desktop computer (as you should), you will need a USB Bluetooth controller if your motherboard does not have BT built in. A controller like this (or a much cheaper one if you are smarter than me) is a necessary compromise if you want to play the widest offering of games on your PC. Some games really (and unfortunately) need controller to get the most out of them. And at the end: Playstation 4 DualShock controller is still better for fighting games, sorry. I'm not getting rid of it.
