This is a lovely dog bed. Easy to insert the thick foam base and it looks really comfy, however my dogs won't use it, preferring to lie in front of the electric fire. The U shaped surround seems thicker and firmer today than yesterday and is made of little pieces of foam other than solid foam bolsters. It matches my living room nicely and looks nice enough to leave in the room, and not have to hide it away. I bought a blanket to cover the dogs with to make it more appealing to them. My cat seems quite impressed, she's usually on my lap or next to me and she looks really cosy, snuggled into the corner. My son's dog seems to like it more than his parents (my dogs) do and also more than the bed I bought for him and his brother. It will be easy to take the cover off to wash when needed, but I think it would be a good idea to provide a spare cover to purchase separately. My son's other dog has just decided to join his brother and my cat, so you can see how spacious it is with all 3 animals curled up on it.

My pup is old and has a lot of comfort issues. He deals with a lot of problems with his back legs, getting up and down, and he is never comfortable sleeping. So far, he loves this bed. I have only had it a few weeks so I do not know how well it holds up, but I can say that he sleeps through the night without getting up in pain which I am very grateful for.

Our dogs love these beds!! Super comfortable and the padding is easy to install. We have two large dogs and the size is perfect for them!!

Wir brauchten für unseren, mittlerweile Opa, ein neues Hundebett. Es sollte auf jeden Fall Orthopädisch sein um seine alten Knochen gut zu stützen. Wir haben uns dann nach langer Suche und viel lesen und vergleichen, für dieses hier von Western Home entschieden. Es kam zügig und in einem sehr kleinen Karton an. Dachte erst, da kann doch kein Hundebett drin sein.... aber tatsächlich, alles da. Natürlich Vakuum verpackt um platzsparend versendet zu werden. Aufgemacht und zügig alles in die Hülle gepackt damit es sich im Bezug entfalten kann. Hat alles problemlos, auch alleine, funktioniert. Kein unangenehmer Geruch, alles sehr gut verarbeitet und nach einigen Stunden dann voll entfaltet und einsatzbereit. Unser Hund liebt es und liegt sehr gerne darin. Der Kopf wird vom Rand gut gestützt und das Aufstehen fällt ihm wieder sichtbar leichter. Das Hundebett ist sehr pflegeleicht und Haare können ganz leicht entfernt werden. Ein super Pluspunkt ist für mich, dass alles in eins vernäht ist und keine "Taschen" vorhanden sind wo sich die Haare drin sammeln. Bei vielen anderen Betten ist es leider der Fall, das sich zwischen Rand und Matratze Haare und Dreck sammeln und das ganze Körbchen auf links gedreht werden muss um es zu reinigen. Das ist hier bedeutend leichter und schöner da Rand und Matratze fest miteinander verbunden sind. Absolute Kaufempfehlung von uns und unserem Hund!

My springer loves this bed! So comfy for him x
