This Machete has good wieght and cuts through limbs with little effort. I am not sure how well the handle will hold up being a molded handle. But for now all is good.

This product is as advertised, a great, heavy (in a good way) machete, I used it on some dried pine wood and it cut like butter right out of the package, no need to sharpen for me. Of course it will need to be sharpened to maintain the blade. I only used it once so far but will definitly update if it breaks in half like some other people's. Seems durable and I like the handle and the way the blade is shaped. The only reason for 4 stars is that it has some minor cosmetic issues and shotty finish in some areas that don't effect performance, so yeah, you get what you pay for. This is a good tool.

Strong, solid, holds a edge well. Grip is excellent, won't hurt your hands when using it

The machete is much heavier than I thought it would be. I like it much lighter so I get a better swing at it. On a second note, I don't believe it actually chops branches that well. My previous machete that I misplaced used to actually cut the wood. This machete more like chops it. It dents it, but does not cut it. Therefore on a branch that's about in inch in diameter, I literally had to swing at it perhaps 20+ times. My previous machete would actually cut it so it would take maybe 10 swings. See how I only paid $25 for this, I may or may not return it. Seems like a hassle but I wouldn't recommend it.
