How are these meals heated? By microwave?

These meals are primarily for people who have feeding tubes. They are real food blended altogether, but I don't think you would want to really eat them. They don't taste very good by mouth. If you have a feeding tube, you still don't need to heat them. They are not frozen.

Can this be purchased with an EBT card?

I have no idea what an EBT card is.....

How many packs a day does one use for an elderly woman? 1-divided into 2 portions? 2- breakfast and dinner? Appreciate any help!

Hello! The dietician advises us of 4 pockets of RF a day for a 63 yrs old male, plus he takes a protein supplement. We do give spreading out as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack, more natural. Female calorie needs are 2000 cal a day, but it also depends on a person's level of activity, med history, and how she tolerates the feedings. 4 a day is a safe bet, but I would not give 2 at once, maybe be too much making her feel bloated. Get consult with a dietician for sure and RF website has a lot of information. Good luck!

I have a g-tube, Can these be poured bag to irrigation syringe without pre-mixing of water?

These are very thick. I used them with a Nestle feeding tube solution that came in a can. The Real Food mixed with the liquid Nestle product worked great. My dad had a feeding tube that pumped the solution through a tube into his stomach. We did not have to use a syringe.......so I don't know how that would work. This product, Real Food, is just that, REAL FOOD. So many insurances only pay for a feeding tube nutrient that is formulated by a pharmaceutical company.....how nourishing can that be. We spent our own money for my dad to be able to get real nutrition.
