The Most Comfortable Shoes I’ve Worn
These are by far the most comfortable running shoes I’ve owned. The cushioning is excellent and provides great support for long walks, standing all day, or everyday wear. They fit true to size, feel lightweight, and help reduce foot fatigue. The quality is outstanding, and they look great too. Definitely worth the investment. I would buy another pair without hesitation.

Like walking on a cloud!
My wife has six pairs of Hoka's, so that piqued my curiosity, and I decided to get my own pair, especially since my new job has me walking around 20,000 steps a night! When I first slipped them on, they were INCREDIBLE! No tight spots, no pinching, and they felt like I could wear them all day!! I work them to work last night and 26,175 steps later, they still felt amazing!!! As my late mother used to say "you get what you pay for", and that is certainly true in this case.

Great looking and fitting shoes
I love these shoes for walking. They are good quality and feel great walking my daily 5 miles. They look great, fit you true to size and the sole offers a wider platform for stability while walking.

Maximum Plush Support for Knee and Leg Hardware—Just Make Sure to Buy the WIDE Version!
If you deal with heavy lower-body swelling, lower back pain, or have medical hardware and screws in your legs from past surgeries, finding a shoe that absorbs maximum impact is mandatory. This shoe delivers on comfort, but it has a specific fit requirement you need to know about. The standout feature of version 9 is the updated premium midsole, which uses a super-critically foamed EVA. It gives you an extra 2mm of stack height compared to older models. The shock absorption is phenomenal. Walking on a hard treadmill or concrete feels less like a harsh impact and more like a resilient, springy roll. The built-in MetaRocker geometry naturally rolls your stride forward, taking a ton of pressure off your knees, ankles, and lower back during longer 30 to 40-minute sessions. While the cushioning is peak plushness, the standard medium (D width) version of the Bondi 9 is notoriously narrow through the midfoot and toebox. If you have feet that naturally swell after walking, or if you previously had to wear a Wide in the Bondi 8, do not buy the standard width. You absolutely must buy the Wide (EE) or Extra Wide version. Going with the Wide provides the necessary accommodating space so your toes aren't rubbing against the front corners when your feet expand. Pros. Maximum plush stack height delivers elite shock absorption for joint hardware.MetaRocker sole geometry takes the pressure off your lower back and ankles. The 3D molded heel collar holds your ankle stable with zero heel slippage.Knit upper provides excellent zonal breathability to keep your feet cool. Cons. The standard model runs quite narrow, forcing many users to buy the Wide variant. It is a bulky, wide-framed shoe that is optimized for slow, steady recovery paces rather than fast running. For pure impact protection and all-day walking comfort, the Bondi 9 is a gold-standard shoe. Just save yourself the exchange hassle and buy the Wide width right out of the gate if your feet are prone to swelling! Great arch support. Easy to put on. Color is perfect. And easy to clean.

My first no-pain walking shoe.
I have waited 26 years for a walking shoe like the Bondi 9 and am super appreciative to the Hoka team for making them. Why? After walking a 5k twice since I slipped these on, I have not felt any pain whatsoever. I had hammertoe real bad, until now. That's history! No longer worried about that. I don't care how these look (which isn't bad anyway); because I walk early in the morning. They work for what they are intended to do and that is what counts. I will admit that walking in takes a little getting use to because these shoes are a little higher up from the ground than I am use to, but that is okay. No problem with that. I do also have to mention -- after doing some research, the best way to wear these Bondi's is with wool, not cotton, or else you might experience some uncomfortable rubbing which gets annoying after mile 2.5. So, I did switch to wool, and now I feel like I am walking on air at 4 miles per hour, which is good considering my age. I have no idea how durable these are since I have only worn them for a short time, but they are lightweight and very stable, especially for what I consider these shoes to be big overall, not foot wise, but shoe wise. Hopefully, I made that clear. I still cannot believe my feet felt the same from start to finish without pain. I am totally flabbergasted! But, that's just me. You might have a different opinion on that, which is fine. Again, a HUGE thanks to the Hoka team for creating this shoe. It runs a bit expensive, but it is definitely worth the price.!

Superior comfort
Bought this as a comfortable shoe that I can wear for normal day to day use and a shoe that I can use for running if I ever get back into it. This shoe is so comfortable that it is well worth the money even if I don't ever get back to running. The only gripe I have is the show was obviously not completely new when I bought it. It had a pale yellow spot on the side of one and a light film of dirt on the entire bottom of the sole. These shoes had definitely been around the block a time or two. I get it. The company gets returns, the product is still good so you repackage it and sell it again. I'm fine with that, but at least make it look like it's never been worn. I could make the show look like new, and did so with the yellow spot on the side and I'm not even in the shoe business. I would expect the company to be well equipped to handle these issues. As for the sole I didn't bother making it look like new but I'm not trying to sell it to somebody as a new pair of shoes. Going forward I would strongly consider buying from the company again but next time they better be on their game. Even the best companies sell subpar items sometimes so I'll let it slide this once.

Best Investment I’ve made for my feet
I have multiple feet issues including neuropathy, along with bone issues. I just received my new Hoka’s a couple days ago and already notice major change. This is the most comfortable shoe I believe I’ve ever owned. It provides stability and comfort when I walk and allows me to walk properly without having to compensate. If you have feet issues, you’ll know what I’m saying.

Scarpe HOKA
