most amazingWork I have read in a long time
I loved her fairy tale twist books. This was a whole other level ! These books were amazing ! Each one held me until the next book was read. I held my breath in parts , I cryed wanting Thaila to be safe. I wanted to know what she was, the power would kill her or make her stronger. In the first one the iron butterfly , we found out female hero locked in a cell. Beaten , tortured and used as a test subject. She is able to run away from her prison with some help for a man known as keale. ( totally spelling it wrong ). We learn this is during a med evil period and that there are two races. The Demi and human. The Demi have supernatural powers , mostly that are atoned with the earth , fire , air and water. Along with healing and emotions. But what we find out is someone is taking students from the Demi school or really anyone and making them test subjects. Turning them into humans with Demi like powers. We lean that Thaila is one such person. Her powers only grow and so do the people looking for her. On the 2nt book we learn who her parents are. King a clan of humans who hate the Demi. But deep down are they really human ? We slowly see Thaila regain her memories and work toward finding the person only known as the raven, who kidnapped her along with many others. Her powers grow. She is able to not only take another's power but to create her own. In the finally book , this one , we learn more of her own bloodline. She isn't really all that human. She's half Siren. Another race of beig that came down before the Demi. We learn that the Demi are deing out but the sirens are growing. It's a place. They keep rah other in check. The test done to her , were to complain the two bloods. Demi and siren. To create the perfect being. Stronge Enough to live through both bloods. Of course they meant mating wise not using them as genie pigs ! In the end she fights to save her land and people and find ur who the real raven is. And she dies. Thaila becomes queen , married and had children and the super race of both bloodlines begins. Beautiful story ! I would love more like this !

Love , love, love this series!!
We get the answers to so many questions that lingered from the first two books. Who is behind the Septori and why the Iron Butterfly was created in the first place.Thalia, Joss, Kael, and the gang are still in search of Joss’ little sister. People, mostly children, are still being kidnapped and Thalia is more determined than ever to find out what is going on. On this journey, Thalia learns a few things about her family and must decide which side she’s going to fight for when the time comes. And when the war comes knocking at her doorstep she must decide if she is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to save the ones she loves. The characters are still strong and believable. One character transforms into a completely different person and became one of my favorites. We met Syrani in book one and she was absolutely hateful towards Thalia. A spoiled, rich brat who felt she was above everyone else. But by the end of this book she is a different person and I loved her character! The dialogue between characters is smooth and easy. There’s no useful information put there just to fill pages. Every place the authors takes you and everything our characters hear is important; so pay close attention. Our love triangle is dissolved and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome since I was “Team ****” from the beginning (if I told you who she chooses it’s just no fun). The world building continues to astound me. You are transported into the story with every step the characters take. The world that was built in the first two books is just added upon and I think it’s just gotten better with each book. This is a great read! Full of mystery, suspense, magic, faraway magical places, Guardian animals, and romance. If you love young adult fantasy you are going to love this series. This can not be read as a stand alone.

Awesome!
I am so happy with this series! So bittersweet and heartwarming, but so uplifting and awesome! Chanda Hahn is an awesome writer.I really love how Thalia chose her man, because the whole time I was totally pulling for him the whole time. He has so much more charisma and is by far cooler than the other guy (not going to say who for those who haven't read the book). Well, I mean the other dude was okay and nice, but didn't understand her or love her like the awesome one did. The ending is so sweet and meaningful and you get attached to all the characters. I feel like I know them all so well, and I'm glad the author didn't make it a fluffy, happy-ever-after fairy tale. It had so many more elements than that; betrayal, love, heroism, action, loyalty, bravery, confusion, loss... but it has all led up to a great resolution and a heartwarming ending. There were so many twists, and again, I am glad Thalia fell in love with the one guy rather than the other. I actually, even though I was all for Thalia's final choice, thought that she'd end up with the less awesome one, so I'm so glad the love triangle resolved the way it did.And I absolutely love the characters. They all are so dynamic and fun. You really get attached. The plot was cool and weird, and so twisty-turny. I loved the whole series so I'm sad to see it end. I'm also upset that so many favorite characters died off, but I love emotional stories. This series was so awesome, action packed and sweet. The Iron Butterfly series was definitely one of my favorite books ever.

In the final part of this trilogy, Thalia outshines herself and nothing is as it seems!
Note: this is the 3rd book in a YA fantasy trilogy, in which each book contributes to the overall story arc. So, obviously, the books need to be read in the right order and this last book is not a good place to start. If you are new to the trilogy, I recommend you stop reading here and start with “The Iron Butterfly”.ReviewOh what a great end to the story! It was very satisfying – and one of the best things about it: I never saw it coming. The synopsis hinted at Thalia having to decide, if she is willing to undergo the painful trial of the “Butterfly machine” again and voluntarily. So I knew that this question would arise and I had an idea as to what Thalia would go through to save her clan, friends and loved ones. And in that, I wasn't wrong. Also, my thoughts about the love triangle's outcome were pretty correct. But this is where all my assumptions stopped being right. And: when it is revealed, for example, how Kael made Thalia's father allow her the trip to Skyfell to search for Joss's sister, I was stunned. And I loved, how Ms. Hahn had developed it.The story starts after the events in “The steele Wolf”, although Ms. Hahn uses a introduction with flashbacks and Thalia being in a dire spot, so that there was no taking a breath, instead I was thrown right into the middle of Thalia's adventure. And just when that action-sequence is finished, Kael takes Thalia to his SwordBrother clan, which brings its own trouble and problems. Here the theme of the whole books becomes apparent: nothing is what it seems. What shook Thalia repeatedly to the core, rattled me as well: friends betray her and foes are not enemies at all, but turning into allies and even friends. I swear, when I read the epilogue [that I loved], nothing described there was anything I would have expected to happen. So, even if you've read the prior two books and think it pretty obvious how it will turn out, you're wrong. The Raven's identity was a shock, the treachery committed by “friends” was something I never expected. The side Thalia would take in a war and who fought whom at all... nothing was conceivable. Since I read so much fantasy, this rarely happens to me and I'm delighted if it does. Especially if the answers Thalia and the reader get, are even better than what I expected.Thalia as a character excels. What she does, into what she develops, is amazing. Yet she feels real, you know, not the “too good to be true”-kind of heroine, but awesome all the same. And her way of overcoming her fear is believably written. So, if you liked the previous books, you'll love the end, even if you won't expect it. All open questions are satisfyingly answered and the epilogue made me sigh contentedly. I'm glad, I stumbled upon this five-star trilogy!

Kind of mixed it up in the end
I liked the Silver Siren less than the two previous installments of the trilogy. There is something about broody dark Kael turning into a chatty lover struck guy, that made me go "what?!?Who are you and what have you done with Kael??". Thalia is weird in this book, she suddenly appears in love with Joss, where in the previous books she just liked him, was fond of him etc. Where did this love come from and when did it develop? I dont know. Her dilemma about these two takes up some part of the book. In the end there are epic battles and new alliances, interesting and good in terms of plot. The character arc of the main heroes though leaves much to be desired.

Brilliant
I couldn't fear myself away from this book, actually all three of them. It was adventurous, magical, exciting and dark. Wonderfully written and I would promote these to anyone. Look forward to reading her other books
