Looks nice, but low QC
Came with a tiny scratch on the ethernet panel, a piece of fabric (?) sticking in the inside (right) of the ethernet port, a chipped edge inside that port, and was a little dusty / paint not so straight. I am wondering if this is low QC or an open box return. It seems to work on the ports I tested (SD / USB-A). It got slightly warm with ethernet plugged in. Sandisk Card Extreme transfer was ~83 MBps (200 advertised) with a giant video file. Sandisk USB Extreme transfer was ~50 MBps (190 advertised) Item is quite slim. Light. Portable. USB-C attached. So I'll rate it 3.3/5 - ok for now, but suspiciously bad QC for a premium priced product. I could've gotten an ACASIS for half the price with an NVME enclosure included. Update; Satechi proactively reached out to fix their issue so I'll raise that to a 4/5 (but won't change initial review).
