This is pool grown sea moss. I was very unhappy with it. Bought another kind to compare. Try Red's Kitchen Sink Wildcrafted Sea Moss. It's the real deal. From the warm waters of St. Lucia. Hope this helps.

We do not use anything for cultivation, as the moss grows in the wild and is collected from the sea along the shores of Nha Trang Bay, Vietnam

From my experience there are 3 levels per say of sea moss. Pool grown, wild-crafted, and ocean‐harvested. This stuff is wild-crafted. As advertised. Still grown in the ocean. They could do a much better job dehydrating it, but I've been taking it for a little while now and it is legit. I get one from a local shop that is ocean harvested and yes its ever better. But this stuff is great! And cheap!
