Runny, broken seal, no plastic protection seal, way to spicy for a “mild” jam.
When it arrived, I had order their tropical and jalapeño chili jam. I got the spiciest Carolina Reaper Jam and the Jalapeño. So I can’t review the tropical, and I had to return both (as per pictures), but I did dip my finger in the jalapeño one before it got binned (broken seal), and it’s basically chopped up jalapeños in a sugar syrup. It’s got the runny consistency of cheap jam and being a jalapeño jam lover, I was sorely disappointed.Also, they describe it as mild, but it has 3 chili warning on it own label (out of five), and it’s spicy as hell, way spicier than any chili jam I’ve ever tasted. And I’m an American spice lover. So beware. I won’t be ordering this again.

Packaging not robust enough
This jar arrived with a couple of Bay Tree accompaniments- it was smashed so didn’t get to taste it and the bother of returning the item was more than it was worth!
