Crucial is a trusted brand for me. It was very easy to install if you know what you're doing. I bought this for my ASUS A15 TUF laptop and it was compatible with it. The heat sink leaves a little bump but after screwing everything in, it doesn't look like an issue at all and fits nicely. Storage capacity I chose was 1tb and it works great for me. Great value for a trusted brand. I didnt5 notice any slow down, so it is fast in my opinion. I'd say just as quick as my internal drive.

PS5 Expansion: Drive was instantly recognized on reboot. Took about 10seconds to format the drive, and it migrated around 400gb's of game storage off the maxed out primary in under 90 seconds. System test says 6330mbps read/write speed on it which I believe is limited only by the OEM processor. Migrated games load much faster than on OEM setup and play noticeably smoother with ray-tracing enabled at 60fps. No issues at all with this expansion drive and super happy with it right out of the box with no hassle involved. I am not a tech guy looking for problems to nitpick, and this unit solved all of mine very neatly and added 2TB of storage in under 10min of setup time. Nothing negative to say for someone who just wants his games to load quickly and run smoothly.

Easy installation, no issue when setting up on windows 11 and no heating issues with it. The read and write speeds are great and imports and exports have been quick with no complications.

Works fine with my PS5. Once I got to the expansion slot on my PS5, it was relatively easy to install. Once I booted into the PS5 system, the drive was there, waiting to be formatted for expanded storage. As far as I can tell, the speed is good, quality is good, and it fits well in the PS5. Fully compatible with a CFI-1000 series PS5 console. The price is fairly good for this kind of device.

Installed it on my PS5, works great and easy to install. The read speed is faster than the factory ssd. SSD also has a heat sink that prevents overheating, which prevents any internal damage.

High speed and works as promised. I used it on my gaming pc with no issues. Heatsink is a plus specially at this lowest price. The only reason why it's not a five stars is it did not came with screws. It took me a while to find one in my bins. You will also need to initialize and assign, so don't freak out if it you do not see it when you open windows.

I picked up this Crucial P310 primarily to expand the storage on my PS5, and it has been absolutely flawless from the moment I installed it. The built-in heatsink is a huge plus; it fit perfectly into the expansion slot without any fuss, and the console recognized and formatted the drive instantly. In terms of performance, I honestly can't tell the difference between this drive and the PS5's internal storage, games load incredibly fast, and I haven't experienced a single stutter or texture pop-in during long sessions of Call of Duty. My only minor observation is that the packaging is a bit bare-bones, but considering the performance boost and the fact that I no longer have to delete games to make space for updates, this drive is easily one of the best value upgrades I’ve made for my gaming setup.
