Provides power and Ethernet to Chromecast.
Works great on my Chromecast with Google TV ( not 4k ) and PoE+ switch. This provides both Ethernet and power to the Chromecast.

Does not fully meet my expectations
Positive: is recognized as a NIC and transmits data. Positive: Charges the smartphone. Which it doesn't do (but I hoped it would): Function as a NIC and charge the smartphone via USB at the same time. Why did I hope so? To use it together with the smartphone via tethering as a backup/fallback modem for the Internet router via LAN with included power support. With the proviso that I wouldn't have to take care about it when I needed it.

It works as it should. Great value
This is a great alternative to charging your Android/Iphone (type-c) when you've either lost other chargers, or need to connect to a network that has no WiFi access. My pixel-10, as an example, started charging as soon as I plugged it in to the PoE port on my Netgear GS324TP switch, also the WiFi icon turned to the ethernet icon <-->, I could see it on the network using the firewall logs. This is a great addon to the I.T. toolbox!

Works like a charm
Works exactly as advertised โ I'm able to charge a wall mounted iPad over PoE while giving it wired ethernet.
