I purchased these for my 6 year old son cause he loves to play with his dads walkie talkies. He was so excited to get these and have his own. They are small enough that they fit perfect in his hand. The volume is very clear and easy to turn up and down. My only complaint, which is small is that the button you push to talk is the same volum even if the volume is turned down. The range for these walkie talkies is very good. My son can be inside the house with his friend outside and it is a clear signal. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

We bought four of these. We've had consistent issues with two of the four. The two that do work well, are great, so I compromised and gave this item three stars. However, I would not buy them again. One of the walkie talkies will only work on voice activated which drives everyone crazy. The other one that doesn't work seems to have a variety of different issues. The long range is advertised correctly, although not 3 miles. We've tested the range by keeping one at the house and sending our son out in the neighborhood on his bike. You can truly still hear a long distance, but it's closer to 1.5 miles not 3.

These were a last minute Christmas addition and it ended up being the gift that all the kids wanted to play with. So much fun and I’m glad I bought them. They are clear as can be expected and they have a solid range. We were communicating with the neighbors from over 400 ft away. The quality is also above par and were completely satisfied with this purchase.

These are light weight, perfect for a child to carry around. They have great range and will even work while one person is inside a building and another person is outside the building. The sound it loud and clear. They are durable too as our have been dropped several times and still work just fine. The charge lasts long too. I definitely think these are better than others we have had in the past.

Excellent range, clarity and source of communication with our 11 year old daughter who does not have a cell phone. Great for bike rides and all vacations. We used on our cruise and it gave her some independence and us piece of mind that we could reach her. Great teaching tool for the inevitable cell phone.

These walkie talkies are awesome. The volume is adjustable and the sound is very clear. This is important to me since my grandkids will be using them and they are hard of hearing (they wear hearing aids). May have to buy a pink pair. They also have many channels to use, so one family could use more than one set on outing or just playing in yard.

I used this to contact my caregiver in the other room when I was recovering from brain surgery and bedridden.They were great and kept our stress level down. I highly recommend using these for a variety of ways.

Purchased for one of my great nephew. He has enjoyed them.
