I recently had the chance to try Anna Sui's Sundae Violet Vibe Eau de Toilette, and I was immediately drawn in by its adorable ice cream sundae bottle – it perfectly captures the whimsical world Anna Sui is known for. One might be tempted to think that such an elaborately cute bottle would house a fragrance that's merely a novelty, perhaps a simple sugar spray for a young audience. However, that's where Anna Sui's artistry shines through. Despite the overtly whimsical packaging, the fragrance inside is a legitimate Eau de Toilette with a well-structured olfactive profile created by a respected perfumer (Jérôme Epinette is credited for this creation).Putting it on, the opening was exactly what I hoped for: a really lovely, fresh and fruity burst. I definitely got the sweet strawberry and a hint of that zesty lemon. As it settled, the heart of the fragrance came through as beautifully floral; the jasmine and lotus created a soft, pleasant sweetness that was quite captivating.However, as the perfume dried down on my skin, I encountered a strange musk note in the base. It didn't seem to blend well with my skin chemistry and unfortunately took away from the earlier pleasant stages. While the initial and middle phases were quite appealing, that particular musk in the base just didn't work for me. In terms of performance, I found it lasted a few hours on my skin before fading.While the concept and the initial scent journey are delightful and very much in line with Anna Sui's playful aesthetic, the dry down wasn't a personal success due to that clashing musk note.

I mainly bought this because the packaging looked so playful,it reminds me of a little ice cream sundae. The scent surprised me in a good way. It starts off bright with a lemony note, then softens into something a bit floral with a light sweetness. The musk in the base isn’t heavy, so it doesn’t feel overpowering even when I wear it during the day. I’ve been keeping the bottle on my vanity just because it looks cute, and I like giving it a spray after getting ready in the morning.

This perfume brand is new to me. In general I like floral scents and so I hoped this scent would work out for me and I was not disappointed! The scent is very sweet fruit and floral forward with subtle citrus undertones. It lasts around 6 hours on my skin. This pretty scent is perfect for spring and summer. The scent notes mention musk but I don't smell much direct musk. The packaging of the bottle and the bottle itself are beyond cute! The sprayer for the bottle is the silicone cherry on top of the sundae! This bottle is a generous size and should last me many months. Overall, I really like the fresh floral scent of this perfume. It's sweet without being too much and it lasts a good 6 hours. The packaging and unique bottle make this perfume perfect for gifting!

Anna Sui Sundae Violet Vibe brings forth a young scent - just like the amazingly fun packaging & bottle presentation, it isn't a very precise set of scent notes but softer so it is broadly more appealing... in my opinion.Again, the packaging and the bottle alone makes it a fun gift or addition to anyone's collection at a nice price point!

I wasn’t expecting much, but this perfume really impressed me. The scent is lovely, and the packaging is super cute—it comes in an ice cream sundae-style bottle and tube. What I really love is the thoughtful design: you press down on the cherry to spray the perfume. It’s not perfect functionally, but the creativity makes it stand out. At first this seemed like a very high price for a novelty perfume, but I must say I am quite impressed. Cute cute packaging and fun bottle! This scent is for those of you who desire a sickly sweet summery gourmand. It’s a fresh strawberry musky marshmallow scent. For the younger crowd would be best as it’s a main sweet strawberry marshmallow scent with the dry down of musk . Too sweet for this almost 60 year old but I can definitely see this popular for those who love sweet!

The presentation is good, and the fragrance of this perfume smells very pleasant. I have received many compliments from my coworkers on how good this fragrance smells.It is easy to apply, and the design of the bottle really makes it standout. I appreciate the larger size, and feel it is a better value. The smell is not overpowering. I highly recommend this perfume.
