An excellent account of the history of Great America from concept to modern day.

I remember the ride that me and my family would ride on and we used to go there every year in the summer.

This book turned out GREAT! It was well worth the wait! Steven did a GREAT job balancing the parks extensive ride and entertainment collection as well as exploring many GREAT moments throughout its over 40+ year history as a suburban Chicago landmark. All color photographs really make this book stand out! Additionally, there are many photographs that have never been seen by even the biggest Six Flags Great America fans!

Terrific souvenir of 6 years of my life (1979-1984). There's even a picture of me on the platform of The Demon roller coaster! I enjoyed the author's obvious affection for the park and its unique history. Great photos. Arrived a lot faster than I expected. Thanks!

This is a wonderful book with great illustrations, written by an author who really cares about the parks. I wish they would’ve stayed under the Marriott label, I think they would have been better today if they did!

Went to this park once while I was working at Great America in California. It is great to see how it was when it opened, how it changed to when I went and how it more currently is. GREAT nostalgia!
