These are the real deal! We filled the bases with sand, as recommended, they felt sturdy and secure with zero spill. I have a business called Claus Connection where people visit both Santa and the Nativity. I used these for the entrance to talk to Santa in his sleigh and at the entrance to the Nativity and Baby Jesus. I did take them inside when not in use, but they were out when it was snowing and blowing. After one season using them, I am going to purchase another set because these are so sturdy and they look nice, not cheap.
