The Best Vacuum I’ve Found
I’ve spent a long time looking for the right vacuum for my 2-bed flat, which has rugs, carpeted bedrooms, and hardwood floors throughout. After loads of research, both with AI and manually watching endless review videos, I landed on this one and it’s spot on. I was moving on from the Neato D7, which had a D-shape and a large roller brush that I absolutely loved. But since Neato shut down and support vanished, I had to find an alternative. I was worried this wouldn’t pick up as well on carpets, but it’s actually just as good, maybe better. The dual rubber roller brushes do an excellent job of pulling lint and deep-set dirt out of the carpet. The app is also brilliant, easy to use and mapping worked without a hitch. The only weak point is the mop function. But since this vacuum costs less than others and does a far better job at vacuuming, I just treat the mop as a free extra. I’ll probably never use it, but it’s nice to have.

First time robot vacuum owner
Very impressive! I’ve never owned a robot vacuum because all our rooms have a heft step, but bought this as our new house doesn’t have these awkward steps. I’ve set it up in the old house just to top off dog hair while we move boxes to the new house and even after using a Henry Hoover it is still picking up dog hair etc. Yet to use the mop and I know it’s had mixed reviews but I wanted this purely for keeping on top of dog hair and so forth, and what a job it’s doing! Incredibly easy to use the app which has more than enough features, and it’s super satisfying seeing its path on the map it built. Room smells cleaner as it’s going around and it does very well getting other thick rugs and X shaped chair leg bases. For the price I really cannot complain, I’d definitely get another one from RobotRock, maybe even one of their mowers as that’s a task I’d rather avoid after a hard days graft!

Beware mop doesn’t lift high up
I got this after previously having an inertia mapping type robot vac that had to go back as it was not very good. This one with its lidar mapping though is completely different and far superior. The only issue I had is the mop function not working in our situation as we have fairly thick carpet everywhere apart from the kitchen. Unfortunately with the mop fitted the vac is unable to cross the carpet to the kitchen as it drags. I believe the next model up from this can lift the mop higher but this one it can’t. The fuss of removing and fitting the mop pad etc for me is not worth it and far easier to just have this vacuum the kitchen and then later on I can mop it quickly if needed. Mapping is very quick and accurate with the app showing you everything as it goes. The app allows you to fine tune the map for areas to avoid or divide rooms up if needed. I found i needed very little tweaking as it does learn areas to avoid if it gets stuck. It got stuck a few times initially but since then it’s been working every day just fine. The ability to set the power level and vacuum pattern per room is handy if you have pets and different carpet types as some hold pet hair worse than others. The multiple map feature is great -I mapped upstairs and then I’ve taken to chucking it upstairs and setting it off whenever I feel it needs doing. It’s best to keep the floor clear but even if you don’t it will work around what ever is in the way. I do like the fact that with the map loaded it still compares it to what’s around it so any changes and it will add them if needed. It sets off and maps the room perimeter then starts to vacuum it but unlike my old one it doesn’t rely on its bump sensors to tell it that it’s reached an edge running along and bashing into everything so it’s much gentler and quiet as it goes. One thing to remember is if you set up schedule, say to clean downstairs every day at 10am but have forgotten to set the map back to downstairs after you put it upstairs to clean and then brought it back down again to charge. It will think it’s upstairs and so ignore the schedule! Other than this it’s brilliant I let it run every day and haven’t had to hoover since. Of course you do still need a normal hoover for the stairs and bits it can’t reach.

Crap
App is rubbish. Missed loads of floor out. Couldn't map any of the floor because the app was down. It couldn't find the dock so had to take it there both times it was used. Really disappointed. If you can afford it, buy a better one.

As Stacey would say… LUUUSH x
I don’t usually write reviews this soon after getting something, but honestly… I had to with this because I am absolutely blown away. I got it delivered today, and I’m already in love. Like genuinely impressed and I’m so picky with tech, although it is my first robot vacuum! I’ve wanted one of these robot vacuums for so long, but I was living in a tiny flat and didn’t have the space for it to be worthwhile or the money. I bought my first house last year, and now that I’ve got the room, I decided to treat myself. Best decision I’ve made in ages. I was working when it arrived and thought, “Great, this is going to take ages to set up and map the house.” Nope, how bloody wrong was I. It literally mapped my entire downstairs in under 10 minutes. I was not expecting it to be that quick or that easy (it also cleaned whilst it did this). It just knew what to do straight out of the box, and setup was super straightforward. Downloaded the app, scanned the QR code on it, connected to WiFi, off he went! No faff at all. Now, the vacuuming function? Bloody brilliant. You can even choose how powerful the suction which is a really handy feature. I sent it around my living room twice on the standard setting, and even though I’d already hoovered and mopped yesterday, it still made the place noticeably cleaner. You can actually see the difference (it also picked up quite a decent amount of fur). That’s when I realised this wasn’t just a novelty. The mop is… decent. It’s not going to replace a proper deep clean, but for day-to-day mopping and touch ups, it does the trick really well. Exactly what you’d expect from a robot mop, nothing fancy but definitely helpful for the price! After work, I took it upstairs, and again, it mapped the space in no time. It recognised it was in a different area and just got on with it. It didn’t fall down the stairs either, which was a huge relief - it went near the edge to hoover but not enough to fall. I’ve got hardwood floors downstairs and carpet upstairs, and it handled both with no problem at all. It even managed to clean along the edges better than I thought it would, considering the shape of it. Picked up loads, even though everything looked clean already. The cat is currently not a fan, but I’m sure she will come around. We haven’t named the robot yet, but it’s definitely part of this household now, he’s living under our nest of tables… the Hoover Hut🛖 On a personal note, I have health issue, and housework can be overwhelming at times (I’m not a tramp tho promise lol). This robot is going to be an absolute game changer. Being able to schedule it, automate it, and just let it do its thing without having to stress about it is honestly such a relief especially if you’re a lazy git like me. I’ve connected it to my Alexa and set it to do a full clean twice a day, although I will probably adjust that to every other day once we see how it goes. All in all, if you’re even remotely considering getting one, just do it. Honestly it is fast, efficient, quiet, smart, and genuinely helpful. I’ve never felt this positive about a gadget in my home. Solid 10/10 from me! On a side note, I will update this in 3 months. 6 MONTH UPDATE: She now has a name - ✨Consuela✨ (how original, right). The good news is that she is still up and running perfectly; she’s actually covered 4952sqm over 118h since I wrote this. We have it on a fixed schedule which works perfectly. It’s since been integrated into Home Assistant and works with our existing automations too. Bad news: Hetty hasn’t been used for a while besides for the stairs because this does such a good job with everywhere else. Our cat still hates Consuela, but we’re getting there. She’s been getting free lifts around the house, so it’s growing on her🙏 Anyway if you were gonna get one, this is my own experience. I have no regrets, and it’s probably one of the best purchases I’ve made to date.

Roborock vacuum cleaner
This is an amazing little device.. why did I not know about it before! It is perfect for a household who have pets. For those who have pets you know just how much fur they shed. I have a cat and a dog and sweep up a small handful of fur daily. Let Roborock loose and see what a great job it does .. to top it off Roborock also has a little built in water tray where it will mop up any stains as it goes along.. I add a little floor cleaning solution and the house smells nice .. ok don’t expect miracles it won’t mop up your floor to high standards but it will try to clean any stains that are easy to remove. I am totally in awe of my new little friend, even if you do not have pets it’s still a great little helper picking up any bits and cleaning around the house. Whether you are too busy, not feeling well or just need a little help this fabulous little device is fantastic. My new best friend Roborock (Robbie) 😉

Wish I'd have bought this ages ago!
I am shocked at how good this is. I have a 5 year old, a 5 month old and a labrador and it's changed my life literally overnight. The kids make plenty of mess and I once saw someone say labradors moult twice a year for 6 months each time and I think that's about right. I'd have to hoover my living room in the morning before I put the baby down so he didn't get covered in lab hair but now it's already done when I come downstairs as I've set it two auto clean twice a day! I was worried it wouldn't make it up my quite frankly random selection of varying floor thresholds - one it seems to have to take a run up but it learnt that itself, I've not had to teach it. It hoovers under the cot and beds. I am an IT person so it took me a while to choose the right one for us and this has done so well so far. It didn't fall down the stairs when I told it to map and clean upstairs so that is a positive and it manages to navigate the huge amount of differing obstacles regularly in it's way. It's surprisingly quiet too, apart from when it decides to clamber over my breakfast bar chair bases (it made it, but was unexpected on my part!) It coped on my bath mat which isn't even grippy any more and a little rug I have on carpet. It didn't like going over the classic hoover wire I accidentally left out, and it didn't enjoy the lump of craft tissue paper I didn't notice, but a quick removal of that and it continued it's little journey. It's light so I can carry it upstairs with the clingy baby. I need to connect it to alexa (for ultimate laziness) so not sure how that works yet but the app and set up so far has been very simple. I've not even tried the mopping yet! I wish I received the item for free but unfortunately I did not so this is genuinely my amazed review! If it breaks by next week I shall update (through tears, mourning the demise of my newly found quality of life). I now spend all day singing My Robot Friend by Butters....

I have to say "I'm impressed!"
This robot vac is 3rd one Ive bought over the years - battery went on my last one - so when this one was discounted I ordered it! It is one very determined vac as my studio flat is a real obstacle course - photo 1 shows small area it needs to deal with & photo/video shows difficult area tackled! It is first one with proper mapping system - even managed to map parts of my flat the vac cant get to - so it defo is accurate! Btw the coloured blank areas are not bits of room it didnt vac - it shows areas where there are units it cant get under because they are too low or have storage boxes there! Photo 2 shows ball chair that my last vac would get stuck on - this new vac not only doesnt get stuck it also manages to clean all the way around the base of chair - saving me the hassle of getting down on floor to do it - which is fab as Im disabled & kneeing not an option nowadays! I have now added video of this vac navigating ball chair base - did seem to get a bit stuck today but you can see vac worked it out in the end! Lol! If it gets stuck vac manages to turn itself around literally on a dime - seen in video - plus it also managed to navigate rug shown in photo 2 getting caught up as well! Suction is powerful & brushes took all the pet hairs off of my rug too! It does change suction as & when it detects different types of floor texture - used high suction on my rug to pick up all pet hairs. This is mainly why I bought it! It also talks - I didnt realise that! I do like that it lets me know what its up to - at least I'll know its on the base & charging properly - which was an issue with my last vac - hence battery failure in the end! This vac is taller than my previous 2 so it cant get under my bed but thats not an issue as that will be dealt with using my Henry monthly now I dont have to get him out daily now! Havent tried mop feature yet - tbh not sure I will but will update review if I do!

Me encanta
