Best sourdough bread slicer
Absolutely best bread slicer you will find for sourdough! Sturdy, simple, extremely sharp, slices beautifully, and the suction on the base is the best I’ve found. I use this daily and can make my slices as thick or as thin as I want, and the bread guides keep the bread from slumping over and hitting the handle and tearing. You won’t be disappointed in this quality appliance. Perfect for sourdough!

Happy with it
Actually, i wasn't sure if a bread slicer would make much of a difference, but this one surprised me. i use it mostly for sourdough at home, and it makes slicing much easier and way more even. the serrated blade cuts smoothly without much effort, and the handle turns without any struggle. what's cool is that you can easily adjust how thick you want the slices, which is perfect when i'm prepping sandwiches for work. The suction base sticks really well to the countertop, so i don't worry about it slipping around. cleaning is straightforward too. definitely a handy tool in the kitchen. it matches my other appliances nicely, which is just a plus!

Well Worth It for Frequent Home Bakers
I bake about 8 kilos of bread a month and have sliced everything by hand for years. Recently, I decided to try a bread slicer. I first came across one from the Zassenhaus brand a few years ago, but at nearly 4.5 times the cost, around $230, it felt hard to justify. I was happy to see more affordable options become available, even though price and quality often go hand in hand. I have only used this slicer once so far, but my initial impression was very positive. It is very easy to use, and the suction cups on the bottom are a smart design choice that keep it stable on the counter. I also appreciate the adjustable slice thickness. I prefer thinner slices, while my husband likes thicker ones, so that flexibility is especially useful. That said, it is not perfect. Toward the end of the loaf, the slices do start to angle slightly. This could be a quality limitation at this price point, or it could simply be user error since I am still getting used to it. With more practice, I expect this will improve. For best results and easier cleanup, I recommend waiting until the bread is fully cooled before slicing, ideally 24 hours. This helps prevent gummy crumbs from sticking to the blade. I also do not plan to remove the blade, so I will likely avoid using this slicer for breads with add ins like raisins, cheese, or chocolate, as those would require more involved cleaning. Even with its minor imperfections, it is far easier and faster than slicing by hand and produces more consistent slices overall.

Great bread cutter that works well and is good
I've been baking my own bread for a while and finally got this bread cutter. using it in my kitchen feels great because it’s just the right size and doesn’t take up much space. it’s easy to get perfect, even slices every time, which makes my sandwiches look and taste better. also tried it on some hard salami at work, and it handled it really well. I’m glad i decided to buy it now instead of waiting longer.

Perfect sourdough slicer
This slicer works great. I recently embarked on the journey of sourdough bread, which is delicious, but also can be tough to cut through the crust with a typical bread knife (not to mention uneven slices). This slicer makes soughdough slicing easy and uniform. Adjusting the slice thickness is easy, but I like my sourdough slices at about 0.7 inches thick, so I have tightened down the setting at that thickness. Just a side note, this slicer is not safe for small children. There is an open blade that functions like a circular saw. So, be sure to store your slicer in a secure location between uses.

Excellent slicer and value for the money. Strong suction cups hold this in place, almost too well!
The quality of this bread slicer is great for the price. I wood base is solid and substantial, and has very effective suction cups that hold it securely in place. The cream colored part is solid metal. The blade is sharp enough to cut through crusty artisan bread with ease. The blade is a standard size so replacing it should be easy, although I don't expect that I will have to do that very soon, The thickness adjustment knob is easy to operate and can be tightened if necessary with the provided simple tool. The thickest slice possible is just under an inch. I watched other review videos of this product and was a little worried about the proximity of fingers to the blade, so I purchased a set of cut-proof gloves to go with it. I gave this 4 stars because of the suction cups. Although they are really effective, a redesign with a little tab that sticks out from the edge of the suction cup would make breaking the suction and releasing it from the counter a lot easier.

Way better than I hoped for.
This is a great bread slicer. I kept seeing one like this on many sites. So when I needed to replace our old bread slicer that cut uneven slices. We decided to give this kind a try. We love it. It has suction cups on the base so it does not move around. The thickness gauge is very easy to use. The blade is sharp and the handle is easy to turn in whatever direction is your preferred way. We use this slicer once or twice a week.

Uniform Slices - Easy & Quick Operation
I didn’t think I’d keep this when I first used it to slice a loaf of sourdough sandwich bread, but I used it on another loaf and it did an excellent job. The first was a loaf of VERY SOFT sourdough white sandwich loaf made with King Arthur bread flour and the second was a sourdough fresh milled flour multigrain sandwich loaf that had more structure. The sourdough white loaf is more difficult to slice using a bread knife, so it’s not surprising it was more difficult to slice with this on the day I baked it (after cooling completely). I’m converting all of my baking to fresh milled flour and think this will make slicing extremely quick & easy. The suction cups keep it firmly in place while slicing. I appreciate the stability of the slicer and that the slices are uniform. It is a good value for me.
