So happy to have this book on my art book shelf!
I am blown away byTai-Shan's artistry. This is a very inspiring book to own, simply for the pleasure of seeing the portraits he has painted. My outside favourite has to be the one on page 104: "Jeremiah lamenting the Destruction of Jerusalem" which has to be one of the most eloquent portraits I have ever seen. In the chapter on "Education and Influences" Tai-Shan tells something of his background and his journey through St Martin's School of Art and beyond and very fascinating it is, too, to have an artist tell you all this at first hand. I am very delighted to have this book on my art book shelf.
