And it doesn't disappoint you will be riveted from page to page. It must be 30 years since I read it in paperback and still enjoyed every page

This series is my first encounter to David Eddings. I enjoy them and like characters. But the story is a little bit long unnecessarily and it makes some parts boring. I decided not to buy the following “The Malloreon” as I felt that I had read enough about Belgarion.

I return to this series whenever I feel like I need some comfort. It is like visiting with old friends whom you know so well. I have been reading this series every couple of years since I was twelve and I am now forty. RIP David Eddings
