I'm in love with Winn and Griffin! đź’ś
This book is the perfect mix of heartfelt romance with a mystery / thriller twist.Winn and Griffin were everything. They were the perfect couple to start this series off with. The tension between them, their raw emotions and the insane chemistry, it was all SO perfect!Griffin is yummy, a broody cowboy through and through. A family man who loves his family and his land. And Winn is a badass, I absolutely loved her character, admired her strength, resilience and intelligence.Their connection was undeniable, it was strong and special, and they complemented each other magnificently. Ugh! I just couldn’t get enough of them! The mystery plot line of the book was the cherry on top. I loved Winn’s determination and how she wanted to fight for those girls. And fight she did. I was on my toes during the last part of the book, but seeing her succeed and find justice was totally worth it.This book is simply AMAZING! Amazing and mature characters, amazing plot, amazing spice (not too much, not too little, just the perfect amount). So, if you haven’t read this one yet, what are you waiting for?

A romance I devoured and LOVED!
IN LOVE!!!! I love Winn and Griffin so much!!!! *cries happy tears*Winn is the new chief of police in Quincy. She is at a bar the night before her new job starts and meets Griffin Eden, who is Quincy royalty. Neither of them know who the other is so they have a one night stand... only to find out the next day their real identities, and so a fantastic love story starts. The way 'Indigo Ridge' was written and how the relationship between Winn and Griffin progressed had an easy and nice flow. I enjoyed it so much that I didn't realize this book was going to end until I was close to the last chapters. I 'devoured' this book and my only complaint is I wish there could’ve been more chapters.Griffin and Winn were a delight to read. I loved how they couldn’t keep their hands off each other and how their relationship evolved from one-night-only and insta-attraction to more. There was something about them that felt so-meant-to-be and we’re-here-to-fight-for-this because we love this, we love us and we want more. Their relationship, even though there was drama going on, felt stress-free in some way and I had such a great time reading them. There was both comfort and sparks and I just love love love them so much.Their connection was instant, and when most of the times I'm not a fan of insta attraction, I loved it with Griffin and Winn. Every time they caved in, every moment they would realize they had reached a milestone in the relationship none of them saw coming… simply beautiful. The suspense part also added a great amount of mystery that hooked me up from the beginning, even when I did guess half of the bad-guy plot twistIndigo Ridge was pure perfection and I can't believe I waited so long to read it. Definitely a book I will be re-reading in the future.

New sherif in town
-small town-found familyThis literary work effectively serves as a palate cleanser, providing an enjoyable narrative and well-developed characters. The female protagonist, Winslow, is portrayed as an intelligent and independent woman who possesses a clear understanding of her desires and refuses to let others dictate her standards. Griffin, on the other hand, is an independent and headstrong cowboy who initially envisions himself engaging in a casual encounter rather than a committed relationship due to his ranch management responsibilities. However, when the new sheriff arrives in town and discovers that she is the same woman he had a one-night stand with, their relationship evolves into a passionate affair. The plot takes an unexpected turn when a body is discovered on the ranch, prompting Winslow, in her capacity as sheriff, to initiate an investigation. Despite the prevailing assumption that the death was a suicide, Winslow's instincts lead her to suspect that there may be more to the incident than meets the eye. This captivating novel not only offers a heartwarming love story but also keeps readers engaged as they attempt to unravel the intricate mystery. While it forms part of a series, each book can be read as a standalone work, allowing readers to delve into the narrative without the need to have read previous installments.

Romance and true crime pair perfectly
Whew, this was hard to put down. I finished this almost entirely in one sitting. Griffin and Winslow were easy to fall in love with and route for their relationship. Griffin makes me want to find my husband a cowboy hat asap. The true crime bit of the plot was well done, especially for this being a romance. I enjoyed the pacing of the book, getting enough information to be engaged in the story and know the characters, but not too much to where it dragged at any parts. The final reveal of the "whodunnit" did catch me by surprise because Devney keeps you looking in other places. Can't wait for the rest of the Scene' stories!
