Homeopathic Care for Cats and Dogs, Revised Edition: Small Doses for Small Animals

I've had this on my wish list for a long time. During the wait I would call a friend who has the book to look things up for me.I am excited to have a Veterinary doctor share his education on using homeopathy for our animals. We've had good luck with the things we've tried so it made me want the book for myself.It's bigger than I expected. Full of good information. It's nicely indexed and I was able to find my info quickly.Nicely bound. Solid book.

Good price easy reading good suggestions

Dr Don Hamilton has been a tremendous help to our fur babies, I found this book after my cat suffered a very obvious vaccine reaction and I didn’t know what to do. Many other vets gaslit me and told me there was no way it was possible when I saw it happen before my eyes right after her shots. After I found out about adverse reactions in his book, I reached out to him for advice and since then he has been helping our cats with random things. Any time I have an issue with them I go to the book and almost 9/10 times I don’t even have to call him because his remedies work and they’re always afforadable. But when I do call him, he provides a level of care that I have never received at the vet’s local to me. He actually cares about our animals, asks us how they act/play/what their personalities and habits are - no vet has ever even cared to ask those questions. He almost completely reversed the damage my cat had from her last series of shots with homeopathic remedies. I spent $1300 on other vet’s “solutions” before finding Don, and his treatments were extremely affordable. Just can’t say enough good things about him and this book. It has helped us through every issue we’ve had, from abscesses to our cat miscarrying to swollen paws etc. You won’t regret buying this book.

I have had many cats through out the years. Like people they tend to have issues with their health as they get older or if they have an accident. I found this book researching an alternative to avoiding kidney disease. Most Vets that I have taken my cats to have given them IV's, drugs or just in general stated there was nothing they could do but put the cat to sleep. Great!, most of the time I have a large expensive Vet bill but no help for my cat. This is very frustrating so I researched alternative solutions for cats and found this book. I found out most cat food is rancid (canned cat food) and does more harm than good. The author recommends a vitamin, mineral powder that he formulated to be added to high quality dry food if you are going to feed your cat dry food. I purchased it and mixed it in with the high quality (no fillers or toxic chemical added to the product). I have also started to cook organic chicken to add to my cats diet along with the dry food (mixed with the mineral, vitamin mix). I have noticed that my cat looks more fit, lost a few pounds he had gained when eating canned cat food. This book also helps with suggestions on how to maintain your cats teeth. I have encouraged my friends with pets to purchase this book.

This is an excellent book for pet owners who are interested in homeopathy. One part I didn't agree with is the concept of increasing the number of pellets, according to the size of your pet. In homeopathy, 1pellet is the same as 2,3, or even 100. Similar to lighting one match or 10 simultaneously, it's the same amount of fire. Also the amount of liquid dosing, does not matter either. The dosing chapter is too complicated, as well as the Nature of Cure chapter seems very confusing. Other than that, the book was very informative and the author seems very knowledgeable.
