Does this backpack meet carry-on size limits? What are the dimensions when expanded? What is the empty weight?

Yes—this backpack fits most carry-on limits when the expansion is zipped closed (unzipped may exceed depth); size is 21.6 x 13 x 5.9 in, and when expanded the length/width stay the same but it gets deeper; empty weight is about 4.4 lb.

How long does compression take? Is the pump built-in or included? How to charge it (USB-C/USB)? How long does it last?

Time varies by load; our 5 kPa pump typically compresses in 30–40s (more clothes = longer). Pump is included (not built-in), charges via USB-C, and one charge lasts ~30–50 compressions.

Will the vacuum compartment/bag leak air? What sealing structure does it use?

After extensive long-term testing, the upgraded compression bag is leak-resistant. It uses an IP68 waterproof airtight zipper plus an airtight one-way valve.

Can it open flat for TSA screening? Does it have easy-grab handles?

Yes—its zipper opens over 270°, so it can lay completely flat for screening. It also has top and side handles, making it easy to grab whether the bag is upright or sideways.

How many days of travel is it suitable for? Is it better for clothes, or also for shoes?

It can handle trips up to 15 days. The compression section is best for clothes, while the wet/dry separation compartment is better for shoes.
