Review: ممتاز - ممتاز Review: Saved My Kitty From Discomfort and Major Constipation - This gel has made my kitty happy and feeling so much better. She has rejoined play time and zoomies have returned as of today. Saved me from a vet bill and IMO saved my cats life as she was declining quickly. Her weight is even returning. She is a rescued Ragdoll and we've only had her several months. I brush her everyday and only started having issues with upchucking her food within 15 minutes of eating the last couple of weeks. It began as once in first week to every other day last week. She was losing weight and was not eating like she used to. I noticed she was losing more hair into the brush and she is a fastidious groomer. I never really saw hair in her vomit but her poops were getting smaller and harder. More pebble like. She was miserable and had an overall malaise. I found out that hairballs don't need to form, that just the hair being swallowed will cause nausea and irritation in the gut causing her to try and get rid of it by regurgitating her food. This is especially true with Ragdolls since they tend to have sensitive tummy's. This lubricant basically grabs the hair and pulls it through the digestive system and lubricates the gut protecting her from further irritation while the hair passes. I started this on Sunday and with the first dose she ate she kept her food down all day. Monday same and was keeping my fingers crossed. Not much change in poops yet. Today 3rd day initial treatment and she chowed down her food and her 2nd BM of the day was a TADA moment. It was bulked up easy to pass and was no longer pebbled. Zoomies return. Her appetite today is awesome and she has not regurgitated her food once since using this. Now I'll cut back to 2x per week for maintenance. She loves the taste and eats it right from a measured teaspoon. It is very sticky but using a spoon instead of fingers makes it easier for her to take it. A little tip that I learned while researching this for hairballs. To avoid nutrition deficiency vet blogs say to not give it with food and to administer 2 hours before or after you feed. Also don't go beyond recommendations since daily use will also block nutrients from being absorbed. I have also added chewable hairball treats to increase her roughage with psyllium and slippery elm which are excellent for healing the gut. Overall I'm tickled with relief and kitty is her old self again. This became an emergency aid and it worked. Thankfully!

Works great
At first I tried to put this on my cat’s face to lick off, but that wasn’t going well. I was worried he wasn’t going to eat it on his own, because I don’t think it smells the best. But I tried squirting a little on the counter and he went right after it no problem! He hasn’t hawked up a hairball since and he’s got really long fur, so I’d say it works great!

Works for a boost
Even though this helped, I didn't receive it in time. Had to go to the vet. If your pet is constipated, get Mirolax! Sprinkle in fresh water daily! Yes, the human kind. Vets don't tell you this but the emergency one I had to go to told me. Cats get older and have a hard time passing poo. Since I've been using Mirolax... it's been 3 weeks now, I've had no issues! Knowing this YEARS ago, would've saved me thousands of dollars. Do your wallet and fur babies a favor and just get Mirolax! Laxatone is great for a little extra boost but if it's a big hard stool.... your pet may need an enema.
