Not actually UL listed...
Seller advertises that this charger is UL listed, well, it is NOT. I was disappointed to notice right away that it is missing the all important UL stamp on the charger. How does that make this any better or safer than any other cheap generic Chinese charger? I'll give you a hint, it doesn't!"2) Safety Guarantee - UL listed, CE, FCC, RoHS certification, provide complete over-current, over-voltage, and short-circuit protection, ensure the safety of your laptop."Buyers beware, without a UL certification, nothing separates this from a cheaper 87w alternative. I'd recommend just spending the extra $30 and purchase an official Apple 87w C charger.

Does not work. I still don't understand why it's so difficult to make one that does.
Does not work. Period. Why is it so difficult to make an Apple-compatible AC adapter? This is the second non-Apple one I have purchased from Amazon that doesn't work. I tried multiple house plugs. It briefly worked for my wife's 13" MacBook Pro, then didn't. Then I tried to pull it out of the wall and the plug came apart.I really have trouble understanding why it needs to take $80 for a power brick, but apparently it does. I need a few of these for different locations and travel, and before I know it there goes $300 for a few power adapters so I have tried a few of the cheaper ones. The other one I tried from Amazon was $45 or $46. I am just going to bite the bullet and give Apple the money so I won't have to worry it or about it damaging my expensive 15" MacBook Pro.

You get what you pay for...
Well, sure enough its now out of its window for returns. I bought this to keep one power supply at my desk and this one in my bag for when I am on the go with my Macbook pro. Right away you can feel how considerably lighter and less solid the device is compared to the Apple issued one that comes with your laptop, giving a good sense of how poorly constructed this one is; the removable power prong that could be swapped with a long cable constantly slips out easily. Sure enough, just short of 3 months of continuous use it fails. It no longer charges the laptop, don't waste money like I did on this, just buy a reputable brand.

Excellent value and solid product.
I liked that this product did what it said it would do. I purchased it to speed charge my new iPhone and by purchasing an official Apple cable, this product really did the job for a lot less than an Apple charger. Do use the official Apple cable to avoid problems from uncertified cables but, this charger is great and well priced.

Don’t buy this. Horrible value
Until buying this product, I couldn’t imagine how the exterior, physical construction of a charger could make the product a waste of money. I figured if it were a bad purchase, it would be because it didn’t charge well or stopped working after a period of time.Well, I was wrong. It seems to charge just fine...as long as you can keep it in the electrical outlet. The problem is that the materials or the construction of the charger seems to be so cheap, the main body of the charger continually slips off of the pronged adapter that plugs into the outlet. The only way for it to charge is if you hold it in place. It’s ridiculous.

Product does charge a Macbook pro 13" until its fully charged, then it reboots constantly
We kept hearing the familiar "chime" that you hear when you first plug your macbook in all night long. We couldn't figure out what was going on. Finally, I realized it only happened when I was using this charger, not the official Apple one that came with my MBP (2018 13" touchbar).Basically, this charger will charge the battery no problem. once the laptop is fully charged, the charger keeps rebooting itself and disconnecting and reconnecting causing the chime to occur. Apple's charger does not do this. i would suspect this could lead to long-term battery damage and isn't worth risking. I returned the product and do not recommend. You just paid for an expensive computer, don't kill the battery on something cheap like this.

Great value
This product is an inexpensive option as a backup charger for my Mac Pro. I work from home often, and going back and forth between the office with my Mac Book, I was frequently forgetting my charger. Now I have one at the office and at home. The usb-c cable that came with this package can be used for other usb-c compatible devices as well.

It simply does not work!
It worked from a few months, now does not work anymore.I could have just bought one costing double and saved the inconvenience and money to buy another one now!How can such bad product get good reviews?Using MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016).
