Is it possible to adjust the timer to a 12-hour time display?

This timer is only compatible with the 24-hour format, which is commonly called military time.

When storing the timer for a long time, do I have to take out or replace its battery?

The timer comes with a built-in rechargeable battery, so battery replacement is unnecessary. To make the battery last longer, we advise fully charging it for 24 hours once each month.

The screen is showing nothing—does that mean the timer is defective?

There is a rechargeable battery built into the timer. If the screen is blank, the most likely reason is a dead battery. Charging the timer for 2 hours or more will usually fix this problem.

The timer isn’t working like it was programmed to—could it be faulty?

First check for wrong settings or compatibility with your device. Compatibility test (pre-purchase): Plug your appliance directly into a powered wall socket, turn it on (keep the switch "on"), unplug then replug. Auto-on = compatible; otherwise not.

Can I use the timer together with a power strip?

Ensure the timer (1800W, 120V, 15A) isn’t overloaded. We recommend plugging the timer directly into a wall outlet, then your appliance to the timer. If you must use an extension cord, don’t overload it either.
