Does what it's supposed to do well
If you need a coffee-bean grinder, this is a good one. It's easy to use, comes with a flyer showing the grind to use for various drinks, and grinds beans to perfection.

A good to great grinder with a few things that need worked out
Starting out, this grinder will serve it's purpose, but getting there can be a little annoying at times with the touch screen. Sometimes the screen is not as responsive as you would like, and it can take a few tries to register the touch how you want it. Eventually you get there, but as I said, it can get a little bit annoying. The build quality (minus the touchscreen) seems to be pretty solid, and has a premium feel to it. It looks nice, does not take up much space and the space it does take up simply looks better with how stylish this grinder is. I use the Settle grinder myself and it makes a racket when being used, so this one seems whisper quiet in comparison. Even if it is still a bit loud, it's still quieter than a lot of other comparable grinders on the market.Retention is not too bad, and at this price point for an espresso grinder, you can't expect to end up with zero retention, but it's not a deal breaker, and honestly not a big deal. I just weigh out and extra half gram of beans, and if i end up with a little too much, no big deal. One trick I learned to help with retention is to put a drop or two of water in with the beans or give them a quick spritz and it cuts down on it by eliminating the static.I personally prefer manual controls like knobs or buttons over a touch screen, and this grinder is a prime example of how it could take it from a good to great grinder to an exceptional grinder with those manual buttons. In the end, the end result is all that really matters, and you can get very respectable results with this grinder. It's fairly quick, and I have noticed absolutely no clogging or issues with the grind. The espressos I make using this grinder are not as good as the espressos I get with my higher end grinder, but considering it is half the price as my daily driver and the results are pretty close, I would say it speaks to the quality. If you need a grinder that can step up your espresso game without breaking the bank on something twice the price, I feel like it's hard to go wrong with this one. If only they had a better touch screen or buttons instead, this would have been a home run and an easy 5 stars. Make no mistake, this is a fantastic grinder all the same.

meh
Retention is marginal but always present, clears easily. The FAILURE point is the power switch. I refuse to beg a grinder to power on or off.

Great grinder for everyday use
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this coffee grinder for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. It’s compact enough to sit on my kitchen counter without taking up too much space, yet it feels solid and well-built.One of my favorite things is how easy it is to switch between different grind settings, whether I’m making espresso, French press, or drip coffee, the adjustments are straightforward and consistent. The grind quality is surprisingly precise for a machine at this price point. The built-in timer is another great feature. I can customize how long it grinds, which makes my morning routine faster and more convenient. Once I’ve dialed in the timing for each brew method, it’s basically one-touch operation.I also have to say, it looks great! The design is sleek and modern, and it blends in nicely with the rest of my kitchen appliances.Overall, this grinder is a solid and affordable choice for anyone who brews coffee at home regularly. It gets the job done without fuss, and it does it well.

Powerful Grinder
This is a powerful grinder. I love a fresh ground coffee and much prefer to grind fresh over already ground. I liked that this had so many settings for different coarseness based on the type of coffee you are making and personal preferences. Here are my initial impressions:- This is a pricey grinder, and ultimately a very basic grinder could achieve the same thing, but does not offer all the options this machine can so it's a matter of personal preference and consideration of the different coffees you will make (just regular coffee or espressos/special coffee, etc.)- This wasn't a "plug in and go" grinder. There is a bit of a learning curve to use this properly so reading instructions is a must with this.-Did a fantastic job of blending and grinding beans perfectly and consistently.-This is a bigger grinder, so something that also needs to be considered when purchasing as it isn't designed to be a "pull out" appliance that is compact.I have this on my coffee bar and use it pretty much daily. I have a basic small grinder that I now use for travel, with this grinder taking its place. It performs well and makes me feel like a barista. I will continue to enjoy it and do recommend it if you are on the market for a more professional grinder with the added capabilities.
